that guy isn't bad, but I was referring to Center mids in general would be better to use in set pieces because Technique is already a major part of their ratio. (In fact, you should consider improving his shooting even more)

Regardless, having a few good shooting Defenders is nice in my style of play (especially when playing with 5 defenders).

and Oby is right, if you want him to be used as a shooting side defender, you need to give him the speed to get up field first.

Thanks to everybody who voted. Blackkat, I received log-in information to the nt-soccer.czechppm.cz/usa... database and it is going to be a big help in selecting the team. With that said, if anybody uploaded players last season and hasn't uploaded those players again, please do so. If you have national team caliber players, do not hesitate to upload your players. The worst that can happen is that I have one more row of information. My initial plan is to select close to 30 players for now, leaving space for new pulls and players who we've missed.

We have a few games scheduled already with invites sent out for the remaining days. Obviously some of those won't be accepted and I'll be sure to stay on top of that as the week goes on. In order to have home games, we need a stadium, right now [soccer_team=30393] looks to have the best in the country. If anyone has or knows of a better stadium for us to use, please let me know in the next few days.

But I am a bit surprised to see Blackkat only get 2 votes. He's been a dominant team since the beginning, and he kicks ass in hockey.

I'm not worried about Blackkat. I think he should be assistant manager for the NT and then run again next time. He'll get it.

Yeah I have to agree. I completely think Obryantj is deserving of the NT coaching job and will do well. But I am a little concerned on how he got so many votes. No offense to him, but I don't see how he did any more or less than say Blackkat or Rayvok. They all posted on the forums and gave good ideas to help the NT. It just seems to me that people just voted for whoever everybody else was voting for instead of actually reading posts and making an informed decision. There is no way any of them should have won by that many votes.

Well, I've updated half the players in the first page if one sorts by OR. I had them scouted so now their attributes are updated. Not sure we have a good goalie to be honest.

These are the top OR goalies in league 2s, and I don't have these guys scouted either so we'll have to get them in the database. There were a couple of goalies with better OR values but the were 22 years old so they're not on the list.

I've decided to select tujague as the first assistant manager of the national team. He has helped a lot in scouting potential NT players and exchanging ideas. He is also a previous I.1 champion and was 4th last season. Congrats to tujague.

Blackkat and Rayvok are also deserving of being assistants, however there can only be one assistant at a time. Do not be surprised if those 2 are also named assistant in the future.

The calendar has been set for this season and the first two games of next season. We have numerous match-ups against English speaking national teams. This includes Ireland, England, Scotland and Canada. Macedonia, China, Russia, Slovenia, Finland, the Netherlands, and Venezuela are also on the schedule. The last friendly match of the season is at home against the Finnish team that has some of the highest OR players in the world in an attempt to see how we stand at that point.

I think most of the reason I got 8 votes was mainly I'm more different from Obryantj than Blackkat is. Ideally we would have had the same votes because we had the same amount of supporters...two... . . . .

Way to get going Obryantj! Tujajge will be great to help you get the team going and I'm sure Blackkat will be just as willing to step in when needed in the future as I would. Congrats and good luck!
