Could be worse. The last 2 weeks, I've pulled 4 players with OR of 156, 178, 144, and 180, and all of them had average star ratings below 1.

When I did my pull this week, I actually did a double take because the players were so similarly sucky.

I'm sure (as has been my luck) that I'll get all my best players right at the end of the season, and then they'll age up, become 5/6 and lose half their value before I even have a month to train them.

For some bizarre reason my team decided to take 26 shots from the 9m line today. Good thing we scored on 2 of them. Plus 14 wide. Needless to say. Worst game of the season for OG.... In other news. OG has 2 goalies again. CT came back and had a wonderful 25% save percentage. I am debating about sending CT on a training camp in the dungeons of the shadow babies. This is the low point of the season. Thank you Kytihu for the beginning of the implosion as we limp along to an 8th place finish.

Picked up my first international player. A 280 keeper. Who will be replace Tomlinson as backup and then will take over from Swift shortly. Hoping the SA will deliver one keeper this season. Only had one in 3 seasons. So I am do. That way I can unload Tomlinson.

I can't wait for you guys to have some more competition up there in division 1. Nothing against the teams that are there right now, but 33 points between 1st and 9th is crazy to me.

In division II.1 there's only 14 points separating the 1st and 9th place teams. That's how division 1 should be.

On a side note, I'm kind of bummed that the Cajuns won't be descending to our division next year. If I stay in division 2, they'd be a breath of fresh air in an otherwise, ridiculously competitive schedule (we'll have cunning procrastinators moving up next season).

yeah, goalies are definitely crucial to success (look at some of the top teams in any division, and it's almost always teams with great goaltending).

That's why I haven't sold any of my goalies that I've gotten from my SA (and I actually still have a very lack-luster foreign goalie left over from season 1 - I bought him for 10,000). He'll be gone as soon as I pull my next American goalie.

Unlike hockey, I'm really going to try to field an All-American team in handball. Even if that means sacrificing overall results. The way I see it, worst case scenario, I'll have more money laying around to pay for upgrades.

I finally picked up the universal winger that I have been looking for to start. The problem is that he (as well as my really good backup pivot that I had planned to start using around now) are both injured for a while. I'm not sure about my chances to stay in I.1 at this point, but I'm confident in my team for next season. I've basically given up on my sports academy at this point (though I still plan to upgrade it to level 11 before the season ends). I'm finally done with the market for now, unless I find any extremely great bargains for a low price.

I noticed you bought an injured player. you lost today and now things are a bit too complicated for you as Team USA beat Salt Lake

I'm mostly interested in the long term viability of my lineup at this point. In addition to the injury, my newer players still don't have ideal training ratios yet.

My team has at least been beating the other relegation zone teams and playing good games against the others.

so you saying you gave up trying to go to playoffs and will prepare for relegation series?

My academy has been gold this season. Have now four 15 year old players with OR over 310. One of them has 340 OR. The franchise goalie that i got from the academy has now 320 OR. Each day he gets +85 to training. Next season he will be likely number 1 or 2. Last pull got another franchise CB with AQ 80. I will continue to invest money into academy.

No offense meant, but I hope your future SA investments don't pay off.

My SA has been a complete and utter bust. I do not think a single player would make your starting lineup Outsider.

And this is a problem cause I thought this was the season to pull starter players.

If I dont pull starters before the season is over, next season when (and if) i pull top players they will have to wait a long time to get into the starting line and thus lose the chance to gain some experience

I finally get into level 10. I hope this level is the one that will chance things .

Level 10 was a bust for most everyone (including me) I think. Outsider is the only one that's had a great deal of success at lvl 10.

You have to let me know what shakes out with your level 10.

I personally still value the SA (even though it's frustrating as balls). I for one, still think that people that get the lvl 13 out the fastest will have a HUGE long-term advantage (guaranteed 2-3 players a week).
