I'm personally with Bulls4ever on the growth strategy Outsider626. Facilities get really expensive really fast. Compare their upkeep with hockey to see what I mean.

Consider that having seven level 10 facilities in handball will cost you $33,226,704 in expenses over a full 112 day season, while having seven level 10 facilities in hockey (for example) would cost you "only" $20,932,800 over the same time span. That's a difference of $12.3 million (give or take) lost over a season of play. And if you're mainly focusing on the "top 4" facilities (regen, training, HR, and SA) as the vast majority of the competitive managers are at this point, then it'll be even more skewed.

The arena costs are pretty much the same as hockey however. So you have a situation where arena upgrades are comparatively more beneficial than before.

In this game, the biggest advantage that you can give yourself early on is making more money than the other guy. Because money compounds money. That's why people are so focused on advancing to higher leagues in a hurry. Facilities eat money, while your arena generates it. Seems like a smart idea to focus on the arena as long as your team is functionally successful.

if you still compare with hockey, there are 25% more home games in the season and thus 25% more potential revenue.

And it is not like i am very far behind. I am only one level (at most) behind the most important ones.

This season our training system and tactics will come into play and energy is finally going to matter. I am really looking forward to seeing how the different player systems work-out especially when the bench will be used. Not an easy game in DI and so many different strategies finally emerge.

Congrats Capsaicin! The better team flexed the muscle and strategy and won the series. Hopefully next year I can make a better run to be up in DI.

It seems that I will be back in I.1 next season. I won 35-25. Congratulations also to the Hannover Fisters on remaining in the league. 7 of the 14 original teams remain.

Once the energy resets, I should at least be competetive for a 5-8 spot, though I don't intend to sink ~$20+ million per player on better players for the purpose. Hopefully I get a few top tier pulls soon.
