could be an explanation. but as Tian said it worked this way since the beginning. I used it for myself and i never had problems. for calculation they always used the line-up which was set when the page was closed 1 hour before.

Your responsibility as the manager is to know both when you need to submit your lineup and keep track of where your players are.

You are right that you shouldnt be able to play with a player who is sold before the match.

Maybe it is a bug but maybe it isnt one at all. At 1900 you are able to watch your match. But maybe thats all of it, you are just able to watch your match. Maybe its just kind of a record but the real match was played (calculated) at 1800 at the time the tactics page was closed.

Actually it was not that bad of an argument. You expect a car to turn right when you turn the wheel to the right. Same argument.

Your example with smoking and slavery on the other hand was a REALLY bad example of an argument and makes no sense what so ever. Just think about if for a while.

You're not supposed to smoke.
There's not supposed to be slavery.
The system is not supposed to work the way it worked before.

Just like "you weren't supposed to use players sold at 18:20 at games 19:00". An opinion.

The car on the other hand is supposed to turn right when turning the wheel right. That's not an opinion, it does what is supposed to do. And you would expect the car maker to inform you if they made a wheel that worked different.

And I have never seen a cigarette that wasn't supposed to be smoked. Aren't cigarettes for smoking? It might be bad for you but that is besides the point.

Bad analogies maybe, but my point is that if something has been going on for a long time, doesn't mean it's right.
