How can I make money with training staff?

True. Maybe you could increase your revenue if you choose sale time carefully for some staff.

I think, if you want to make money with them, you have to train them faster than other managers ...

Top trainer was sold for 15 mil. Salary 168000. He cost 112x168000=18,8 mil last season only.

I think it's more important what he brings to the table, than what he takes off. He brings money in when you sell some of your players and get more money, because they have higher OR.

I like that Staff are a losing investment. People should NOT be able to buy them and sell them later for a profit - that takes away from the game.

It's a shame the same doesn't apply to players People who buy/sell purely for profit ruin the game.

I wouldn't totally agree with your last statement. If you buy a quality player and train him in good facilities, it's inevitable to sell him with profit.
If I were game developer, I would seriously think of increasing tax for teams with more than 40 players. Some teams can stack with players only to sell them after a period of training and there are teams with 60, 80 or even up to 100 players and making this less affordable could spread the talent at least a bit.

Hockey in PPM is greatly influenced by CL, and it would be wise to have more than 40 players.
If you don't have full chem and exp in your lines, you will lose your important matches. Thats why bringing in youth should be done gradually, you should be able to give chance to youngsters in matches that are not so important. So, you can't just get rid of experienced ones.
Also, you should have at least 1 backup player in case somebody gets injured.
Keeping that in mind, and having also those with 15 and 16 y.o. would make your squad optimal with in range of 40-50 players.

Teams with 50+ players are set for trading, so that amount should be taxed significantly more than below 50.

Oh i agree. I think if you buy someone, play them and sell them for profit it's fine. But I don't agree that people should be able to buy players, never actually play them and then sell them later for big profit.

I agree, 50 is the number I would work with also.

Well, I was thinking about, just didn't develop my idea in my last post.
That is, the tax for each additional player should increase with some level of exponent. Think of additional tax for selling more than 10 players in one season or formula for building facilities.
And the factors could easilly be adjusted in a way that keeping the squad with up to 50 players could still be affordable, not so much above that level.
