I agree it is a time save, but also would give an advantage over not having it which all of the other functions do not provide in the Pro Pack, If they want the playing field to be equal between paying and non paying customers which might be a bad decision if they want to make money. Pretty much I am saying if you think its a real worth while advantage they won't give to a Pro Pack user.

What's the difference between the market agent and being logged in? User time. Anything else?

Nope, no difference at all.

If you're logged in you do it manually. The agent simply means you can bid in auto-increments without needing to place multiple bids. It's handy even if you are logged in.

Main diff is this:

If you see a player that you want who you would be willing to pay say, $50 million for, and right now he's at $5 million, you would set an auto-bid of $50mil via the agent and that's it. The system will put your bid in at the next increment, which might be $5.5million. If someone else bids $6mil then the system will auto bid for you again to the next increment. and so on up until you either win, or you hit your maximum bid.

So how is this unfairly advantageous?

If anything, it remedies an existing unfairness which prevents busy players from being able to purchase players without overpaying.

It isn't an unfair advantage, because to use it, you have to pay for it. I've got no problem for it, other than maybe it being a bit too high priced for my liking.

The price to to curb people from using it too much. So it does make sense. It's not supposed to be something used weekly. More for a very special occasion. So that's why I have no complaints about its price

Yep. Realistically I only buy a truly "HUGE" player once a season, and it's only on a "OMG i must have this player or i'll die" type person that i'm going to use it on.

I've made some major changes to my hockey team in the last 2 weeks. Picked up 4 800+OR guys to help bolster my lineup.

one of the best parts of the market is being able to sneak on at a odd time and look for the sweet deals. if the market agent was free then the market would be lame, all players that are good would be too overpriced for newer teams to get in on the bidding action.

It's risky too, because you're blowing away 10 credits if you end up not getting the player

whats the scoop with the market transfers thread? i want to post my player i have for sale but it is locked

Not sure, but I'm suspecting that the new enforcement of "advertising players" on the website by paying credits has disabled the Transfers thread..

About the market agent, anyone else notice that these automatic bids don't add 1 minute to the deadline like regular bids do?

I've seen this a couple of times now and have to wonder if it was designed to work that way. Seems to me that makes it overpowered because it cuts down the chance to counterbid.
