One thing regarding substitutions which I just now realized (with the new report features):
Suppose I substitute player A for player B into the match at a certain time. At a later time I have settings that make changes to player A:
(a)
Player B <=> Player A
Player A <=> Payer C
Position Change for Player C
(b)
Player B <=> Player A
Position Change for Player A
Setting (a) takes the player A again off the field for another one, C. This is working, as can be seen here: soccer.powerplaymanager.c...
In the 75' min. Pitz is substituted for Brinkmann, who was coming on the field at 45'. (Btw, not related with my point here, but Brinkann's rating is still shown wrong in the match report. That old bug is still not solved.)
Setting (b) on the other hand should only change the position of player A but obviously does not work, which I just realized today: soccer.powerplaymanager.c...
In the 70' and 80' minute there was a setting like this for Kranz, who was substituted at 45'. I checked other matches and it seems these substitutions simply do not work.
Why is that? One can substitute a player again off the field but no position changes for subs are possible? I think that must be a bug. Or am I mistaken?
(Another btw, again not directly related, both of the above matches are really crazy to loose 1:3!
But at least that brought me into looking closer at them.)

Regarding training. Is it better to train a player on one skill for a week (1week = speed) or should I mix it up and train different skills ( 1week = speed, tech, pas) ?
Is there a way I can see the formation/s my opponent has used. This would be helpful in developing strategy for the match.
Depends on position of a player, his qualities on specific skills etc, his current skill values etc...you probably want to keep the skils in ratios that you think are the best for his position, regardless if that means one skill for one week or not.
And about the formations - you can go to your opponents club and in his calendar open match by match and look at the report.

Yes, you can go to your opponent's team page, then go to "Analysis" and you can see the strategies he uses more constantly.
Plus, you can check his team calendar and see what tatics (line ups) he used on his last matches.

Balanced players have the better rating on PPM.
There's not a "correct" proportion of the skills for each position, but the brazilian managers uses a common sense proportion.
You can see the data we use the most here on this link (sorry, it's in portuguese, but I think you'll understand the numbers, tell me if you need help with the translation): ppm.powerplaymanager.com/...
This is our common sense training, but each manager from here changed it accordingly to his personal preferences. Some train more shotting than others, some train with slightly different proportions.
I must remind you that being a PRO user you'll have the ability to make your training become automatic, that means you can just set the proportions and the training will happen and be changed automatically if needed.

No. He reminds you so you know when the contract expires. Because if you have ACE on maybe you are thinking of letting the player go, so you can turn ACE off, or if its ACE off, than maybe you wanted to get rid of him, but you changed your mind, because of unexpected injury, and you want to turn ACE back on. In both situations its good that system reminds you of that.
thanks Ivan - hey do you know any extra way to make more $$$ im worried that i may run out of cash. please let me know.
cheers

Well...interesting question...I think that about 97% of managers can ask the same question, and other 3% is top of PPM and accumulating money until some good prospect shows in the market.
Only thing I can say about cash: fire all staff, or at least keep them in low numbers, you dont need any of them in the start, dont accumulate too much players.
Other than that, to earn extra cash...well there is market trading, but you must have highly developed training for that, and a decent amount of cash.

i will be going out of the country for a month or two, do i need to notice the PPM staff or i can just login from abroad and take care of my team without any problems? (there's nothing about this in the Rules section so i want to make sure, cause other games have silly rules like this, that you have to announce the admins if you plan to login from other countries for a longer period)
