I'm building SA 8 right now. But I decided to use all my money + max loan to build my first TF 1000. Facilities will suffer as a result short term but it will set me up long term to compete. Looks like were using a similar approach. Big difference is your lucky pulls which gave you the fire power to promote and collect i.1 money. Will take me a long time to ever catch up
Yeah, but now it is to late to build stadiem, term is 70 days to finis till sponsors i need start it in 38 day and i cant get that 38 milion in this short time, so i stay to infra and in other season i expland my stadium capacity.
The aim was to always get the 3 tier asap and set myself up for the long term, but as you say my good pulls put me in a perfect position to win promotion easily really. There was only one real challenger and he just didn't have the skills my guys did.
It's a shame there's a lot of luck involved early on which can dictate how well you can progress rather than your abilities as a manager on the whole. But without the randomness, there's no real fun/surprise

Bah. I understand now why you could afford the stadium at this point. The only difference between us is your promotion money.
You're not as advanced in other facilities as I am since I went that direction instead of stadium.
I was kinda wondering how you got all those players, all facilities AND a stadium.
Also, for all those great looking players you have, your team strength is pretty low.

I also just remembered the 22 million dollar player I bought... could have put that towards the stadium too. Haha.
Meh. You've gotten more OTR than me this season. You'll have rich people problems next season.
Hardly! You have the CWC man! That's a lot of ground for me to make up! I'll be better off next season than this season, however, if my SA doesn't start producing I'm toast.
Tiz why I bought my 22 million dollar man. Saw that I had an opportunity to gain OTR in CWC, NC, and league play. I wasn't doing well in league play, so I took that as a sign for how I would do in the other two and tried to make a difference. Didn't help me out in the end for NC since my goalies went with a 10% save percentage in that game, but that guy gives me 2/3 elite backs and will give me a chance at going deep in CWC and perhaps promoting in league play.
I'm a bit baffled by my low overall team rating too. It must be that my goalkeeping stat is so low bringing the average down.
On that note, how are you training your players? Obviously we have the primary, secondary and tertiary skills but what ratio do you think could be the way to go? And do you think the field play stat should be higher than all?
I've been going very loosely with for every 10 skills on field play, 7 on primary, 5 on secondary, 3 on tertiary and then 6 on shooting/blocking depending on player.
Penny for your thoughts?

Ive been doing the same ratio, except shoot block i keep near 8 (little higher or lower depending on qualities).
I also feel like I have a low OTS for my players (top player is 296, 5 in the 240's, usually don't have any starters below 200). The highest my OTS has ever been was 20, but have been at 19 most of the season, and recently even lower due to resting players. Apparently my Defence is bringing me down, however I am not sure why.

I like that ratio that you suggested.
I have a feeling that the rounded OTS numbers that we see right now are irrelevant. A team could have a 20.4 OTS, and another could have a 19.5 OTS but would both be reported as 20. Is 1 OTS a big deal right now? I don't know.

Seeing as how I just got crushed 3 in a row, and he's the first player I have in the top 22 for our division, yeah I do.
Plus he's a SA player, not a purchase.
