Yeah, I doubt Hogg even makes 500 OR with me this year. I'm not really interested in throwing him on the market and letting random people bid for him, just because he could wind up with a worse team. I also don't do in-season camps (I run my camps over the last 2 weeks of the season), and I'm not interested in changing that for one player.

So, basically, if someone with better facilities than me is interested in paying, say, 1.5M for him, I'll throw him on, otherwise I'll just hold on to him and see if he still grows fast enough for the NT anyway.

If he doesnt get past 500, i dont see him ever Making the NT. As for myself, I wiuld pay 2M for him without a problem. You just need to put him on the market at a time i can be online (around 6-7 pm EST)

I'll put him on for 3 days in about an hour starting at 1.5M. He'll have gained 5 points in OF by tonight, even with my meager training facilities, so he'll be a good one for whoever gets him.

As for myself, thanks to all who voted for me. I will do my best to develop canadian youngsters

Our calendar of events has been filled for this season as well as the two first of the following season.

Player selection is under way. So far, I feel like we have a good group of wingers and RD. LD is an area of weakness and centers are not extremely deep. We will work on developing a competitive team for this season and next. Most of all, we will aim to maximize the training of all of our players.

At this point, we have 24 players on the National Team after the departure of 19 year old players and cutting Edgar Burns who is on a dead team.

I am still not finished my prospection of players for the NT so I will proceed with caution when inviting players. Here are some players who will now join the team. More to come.

Yeah. I expected he'd go for 10M, 15M max, but when he was at 7.5M with 4 hours to go, I started to wonder. I still didn't think he'd go for more than 30M and probably 20-25M. 50M is quite a lot more than I expected.

Happy with the money, but a little disappointed as a NT fan. His new team has better facilities and coaches than me, but there were a lot of teams bidding that were significantly better. I assume 50M was too rich for your blood?

Hopefully this guy develops him well. Will definitely be keeping an eye on him.

Yeah sadly for me I don't have much money laying around. Most of my facilities are good to go, but I still need to pay a chunk eventually to build the lvl 15 regeneration facility which will finetune my development further. Also my arena is not complete yet.

Don't worry about his team though, the only issue with it is that second coach with a low OR, but I contacted the manager and he assured me that new coaches with 200 OR were coming soon.

coaches with 200OR are a rare commodity these days, tho. I paid 50M for my last one, so if this guy just blew 50M on 1 player he may not have the ressources left to get a 200 OR coach for a little while.

I still can't get over how noob teams will manage/elect to bid 60M+ on some young players. Especially with how many veterans are out there wiht better ORs and five times cheaper. :/

Also, re U18 while I'm here: His OR is a bit on the low side for an 18yo because he was basically a week before last of the playoffs pick, but I figured I'd point out

He somehow hadn't been added to the spreadsheet, so there's no way you could have known about him xD. High Def, high shooting U winger. On pace to be about 1100 OR by the end of the season.

Thanks, I will take a closer look at him. At this point, I picked the most likely starting lineup for this season as well as the stars of next season. I will now start looking for the best reservists and the 17 year old depth. These will most likely be the "B team" this season. All players will get good playing time in friendlies though.

By the way, if anyone wishes to familiarize himself or herself with the NT management, I have my assistant manager spot open. Only tasks are to get acquainted with the tools and start scouting youngsters. Then we can discuss tactics and lineups ideas and such.
