主題: U18 Canada National Team
Probably due to the fact GBG dismissed this guy shortly after grabbing him from the sports academy. He had time to slip under the cracks since I don't think dismissals show up in player sales.
I'm guessing he was a 5/6 CL @ 15, which does take his long term value down a bit, and 775 at 18yo is not looking like he'll make it to the U18. If well trained he may crack into the U20 lineup, but probably not as a starter.

That's our assessment as well. Still, he ain't far behind Banks in numbers and his training numbers are better. At $2.4M, I will take it and here's to him keeping that CL15 thru his 18th birthday...
I won't be around at deadline, but if you want to keep that guy in Canada, he looks like a pretty good prospect.

yeah, maybe a PK winger. Sadly he's so late in the season he may not even make it on the NT teams 
Hmm, is there a reason why Sutton wasn't playing in this game? He's better than bowman and has a higher tech than the top 4 that was playing there. :/
I don't like talking tactics during a tournament really but we really didn't expect to beat Slovakia anyways. That we only lost 1-3 is remarkable really and is probably mostly based on hitting tactics against them. We, of course, hope to do well in this tournament and to do so we will need all the defencemen to have good chemistry. Sutton is already of high chemistry.
Rather uncomfortable to announce that Edgar Burns was added earlier today to the roster from the now-defunct Kenora Thistles to save him in the game. We still have two roster spots available so if there are any other players you would like from the outgoing roster please let us know ASAP.
As promised, I will step down as GM of the U18 team tomorrow regardless of the result against the US tonight. Another GM has entered a candidacy and I wish to share the enjoyment of this game with others, not hog it for myself. I will run for GM of a foreign country (probably Norway) and reserve the right to run for the Canadian job in the future. Thanks for your support during Clit and my time running the team!

Nice try though. I tried it with a senior player on a team that folded. All national team players, on that team, go up for sale at the time of folding. Anyone added to the national team after folding is apparently dealt with like the rest of the team. Nice to keep them in country, but not necessary if they go to a team with equal/better training opportunites to the in country team. Just a little harder to keep track of unless they are on someone's "followed" list.

I'm also a little bit disappointed that Paul is leaving the U18s after the season. I enjoyed his humorous take and felt like he was a good manager for our U18s.

Oh I see what you mean, he won't go up for sale now. Oh that is too bad. I wish that Skipman had dealt with his talent before folding. Seems a waste after being involved in the game for so long...
