Well, we at least managed to get 7 managers active on the forum in the space of a week, which is probably the most we got in the last... 5 years? There's that.

I have never badmouthed mat601.
However, I did ask the same kind of questions that I have been asked, in every sport, each and every season that I have been a national manager.
Part of the responsibilites of a national manager seems to be to explain to managers why their player did not make the team.
It might have to do with a player's talent, or maybe current team strategies.
As far as the election, I doubt that I had anything to do with mat601 not running again.
He is far better qualified to explain his reason for not running than is conspiracy theorist roedb.
My name was not on the ballot until the last week, and then was the only name there…again.
I only received 6 votes, not exactly a landslide victory, and one of those votes was mine.!
If no one else choses to run next season, will I be accused of treason by the grinch, if I leave the ballot blank??

Cependant, j'ai posé le même genre de questions qu'on m'a posées, dans tous les sports, à chaque saison où j'ai été entraîneur national.
Une partie des responsabilités d'un sélectionneur national semble être d'expliquer aux gérants pourquoi leur joueur n'a pas été sélectionné.
Ça pourrait être lié au talent du joueur, ou peut-être aux stratégies actuelles de l'équipe.
En ce qui concerne l'élection, je doute d'avoir quoi que ce soit à voir avec la non-représentation de mat601.
Il est bien mieux placé pour expliquer les raisons de son absence que le conspirationniste roedb.
Mon nom n'était sur le bulletin de vote que la semaine dernière, et il était alors le seul… encore une fois.
J'ai reçu seulement 6 votes, ce qui n'est pas vraiment une victoire écrasante, et l'un de ces votes était le mien !
Si personne d'autre ne se pointe la saison prochaine, serai-je accusé de trahison par le Grinch si je laisse le bulletin blanc ?

I would be very interested to know why this player was added to the U18 team.!!
He is already 5/6 at age 16.!
His attributes are nowhere near the generally accepted values for the position.!
How is it possible for him to be of any value to the U18 team this season or next.

I see no demeaning or derogatory remarks about mat601 there. Just a question about why a certain player was picked for the team. I have had that question asked of me lots of times in several PPM sports. NEVER did I take it as an assessment of my character or abilities.!! ALWAYS, I answered the question with rational reasons for my choice.

On m'a souvent posé cette question dans plusieurs sports de PPM. Je n'ai JAMAIS interprété ça comme une évaluation de mon caractère ou de mes capacités ! J'ai toujours répondu à la question en argumentant mon choix de manière rationnelle.

Someone finally loses an election to a newcomer to the National scene. That loser is so emotionally fragile that he obsessively watches the new guy's decisions till he finds something he doesn't like and immediately posts his complaints on public forums.Someone (me) suggests that he shut the fuck up and let the new guy run the team. I am certain that mat601's objective was much loftier than not being relegated.
