I say go for it with all you got. It may be a long shot, but it's not over yet.

Well crap, had we won this in regulation, we would've advanced to the next stage. Ah well... I took a gamble and it *almost* paid off. Who's to say what the outcome would've been if I *didn't* play all the 19 yos, though? We could've lost 3-0 again. Guess we'll never know.

Our overall situation looks a lot better for next season, though. Almost half the team playing today was 19. We'll have 2 real starting goalies, and they're almost better than Haydn already.

Oh shoot, I had forgotten about the relegation round! Ahhhh! Well, bright side is, we get 1 extra game this way! But if we don't win at least 1, we're doomed to div 2 and that would be bad. Will do my best not to let that happen!

That was a convincing win against denmark. Pretty sure Turkey beats them too, so we've gotta win against argentina as well to avoid relegation.

Upside of playing the reserves a bit is that our players may be a bit more rested than theirs. Here's hoping, anyway!

Curt Haydn was Curt Haydn again. I should've played Banks the whole game. Despite us dominating the first period, they scored 2 on us in 8 shots. And went on to keep us out of the scoresheet.

That OT win is hurting us, again.

So now, we're going to have one of the strongest team we've fielded in a while... In the weakest division. And then it will all have to be started over again. Good job, me. Good job...

I have decided not to run for U20 manager this season. I have some stuff coming up and I know I won't be able to give the team the attention it deserves, so I'm hoping you will all vote for georgejeanne instead!

And hopefully I can still stay on as assistant manager. I will continue to update my legendary spreadsheet, too. Promise!

Krokador would be a Hall of Fame worthy assistant.

Thank you SamuelCarrier. And also thanks to Krokador and to Bobby Jay. Both have given advice for the this years team success. At this point I am behind in the race for the manager position. All votes would be appreciated. It would be great to have a second try at the manager position.
Also congratulations SamuelCarrier on how well you are doing with the under 18. You may take us into the medals. Also team Canada at the senior level did great so great job Bobby Jay. Thank you to all of you that have voted for GeorgeJeanne as manager. New hockey season starting soon so I hope you all have success except when you are playing my Ontario Maple Leafs. Lets Go Canada, Lets Go Ontario Maple Leafs.

Elections take place in two rounds. Managers who don't vote for you the first time around may do so the second time around. And good results are a convincing argument for a re-election. I love Paul and I get why he wants another go at it, but for me, it is your turn now and I hope you get it. (I hope Paul gets GM of a national team in the near future though)

I gave up my job as the U18 GM in protest of one GM hogging the job. And I stand by that. The PPM game is about hockey, not Monopoly. These jobs should be shared by the GM's in our country - that is how we will maintain interest in this great game. The U20 GM has only been in the job one season so I am using my option to edit my presentation by backing him and essentially backing out of the race. Please do not vote for me. But at the same time, regardless of the results that the GM's achieve in their job, I ask long-term GM's to voluntarily give up their positions in the best interests of the game. I WILL be back next season and will do everything in my power to be a national team GM again...
