Well, I had forgotten OT wins weren't worth as much as regulation wins...

The only way we'd beat lithuania would be for denmark to beat them in regulation... but then denmark would beat us.

So I guess we're stuck in Div II for another season :/ So I'm gonna go ahead and just play the 19yos for the last game, get them a bit of chemistry and experience.

This is the most logical strategy. Don't lose any more time with players that are not going to be in the team next year.
Also, could we make sure we have friendlies scheduled (the two first one before s new GM is elected) for the beginning of next season?

It seems we already have the 2 friendlies scheduled for next season

I've got the U18 team's attributes list and my own that I have been working on, so I should be able to recommend a few additions to the roster before you get there, too

Hey, guys, noticed, the U20 won today!

The team did not play a great game but our keeper was a rock - Kristopher Dozzell saves the game! 37 save against 39 shots (we scored three on 22).

The great things about this unexpected win is that we played High with 4 lines while everyone played VH and most played with 3 lines. the cherry on top is that it had happened against the strongest team we had to face. This put us in a great position for the remaining of the tournament. Wish us same luck against Brazil tomorrow.

Well, not a nice win, but a win nonetheless. I realized that our backup goalie was not ready for the challenge, so cross my fingers Dozzell stays healthy.

After a disastrous start (0-3) we were able to come back and win the game in third (a power play goal) but we had to play the second and third VH, may not have saved the energy I was planning too. hopefully, the game settings were right for the comeback!

Hope so! Today's game against Lithuania was for Canadian's fans only as it was 7-0 after two.

The strategy was finally aligned and are able to save lot of energy in third.

I am trying, again, another different strategy against Ireland tomorrow (Ireland are just next to us since they are undefeated yet).

So far I am very satisfied with the team, being able to build up players strategy for next year while building a third style play and second PP and PK strategy. The goal is not just to go out of div II this year but never come back! I believe we will have a competitive team next year too, whoever is taking the team

I shouldn't have talked, as soon as I said that I am satisfied with the team, guys found a way too lose! I am very unsatisfied with the lost against Ireland. Will see tomorrow if if was just bad luck. Hope it is!!!

It was definitely one of those PPM upsets that make very little sense. We beat them in every way BUT scoring. Then again, all of our NT teams had a rough time finding the back of the net yesterday O_o

Thanks for our wiin today and a defeat from Ireland, we are back in first place With 2 games to go. Hope we just not have one of those games...

I know, but since we should have lost against Bulgaria as they beat us in every aspects that game, I call it fair... For now!

We win! It is now safe to say Canada back in div I !
