Go for it. Maybe Krokador would be a better assistant than me as she has extensive knowledge of the young players which I don't have. I always relied on her and my own assistant Trader Phil. They both did amazing work on that.

I will of course love to share ideas.

It is with regret, that due to an apparent "lack of interest", domrochon is being removed as assistant GM of the national senior hockey team.
I have suggested articles in the PPM magazine that he might find of interest.
I have offered my takes on choosing national team members, and how to determine who shall be the starters.
I have offered every resource that I have.
I have been willing to answer any questions he might have.
There has never been any communication or acknowledgment that any time has been spent on "learning the ropes".
I had hoped for more interest and involvement.

Sounds like a tyrant removing the VP to accumulate power to me...

Never mind, I found it lol. Good to see the forums are a bit active at least. I had stopped checking for a long time. Just starting to check more recently.

I was just busting Bob's chops... you know, as he does to me. The only reason we get along is because we have the same alma mater and are both alumni of the same athletics organization

With last season's close finishes by these four teams, this was shaping up to be a tough ride.
With such evenly matched teams, anything can happen in such a short series.
A win tomorrow against Belarus, or a loss by Turkey to Hungary would put us through.

This game also has world ranking implications, as winning would improve our chances of catching them in the standings.

A nice win today over Belarus, especially since Turkey did not lose outright! Oh, and maybe it's a sign of good luck, that Poland, (our past official nemesis), for once, does not stand between us and success.

A 3-1 win over Latvia today really helps our chances of making the final eight. Powerhouse Russia tomorrow and then Switzerland. A win over Russia could make us one of the top four so we could avoid the tough opponents for the first game of the playoffs. They play most tactical styles so hitting the right one is a bit of a guess.

With the 4-2 loss to Russia, we need to beat Switzerland tomorrow in case Latvia should beat Belarus. In any case, it seems that if we do make the final eight, our first opponent would likely be France, not a pleasant thought.
