going back to the TOP div boys... Im stepping out of the race for the summer season, as we have a devoted and quality manager ready to take the helm. thanks for the trust to run the team for so long. We still need 2 defense for the squad, the ones Im grooming are still seasons away, so please pass on info to the new GM. Happy summer everyone!!!

Whelp. It appears I'm your new Senior NT GM! Thanks to everyone for voting for me. I will do the best job I can!

Looking over the team so far, it looks like we have some solid depth, but we don't have much in the way of star-power outside of Craig and Cochran. Brown and Lepage on the are up there, too, but more high-end support players than stars.

I'm planning on dropping Cole Moreau, Austin Bradley and Brendon Hoskins to make room for some younger guys, of which I currently have found 12 worth considering and another 15 planned for scouting. Also thinking of dropping Leslie Hiller as there's some good players of around the same skill-level currently who are younger. Still also deciding whether to go with 5 or 6 goalies, as rotating 5 through friendlies will probably be easier, but there are 6 that I could see placing on the team.

As for what I'm looking for to fill my roster, for developed players 30 years or older I'm looking for anyone with a primary rating (Off, Def, Goa) including experience factor (0.2% per exp point of the displayed rating) of at least 1400 for goal and defense and 1200 for forwards and for youth players under 27, at least 850 for all positions with, for all ages, minimum 50% of that stat for their secondaries. Shot for wingers needs to also be at least 60-75% of their primary stat. If you know of or have a player fitting these parameters, feel free to drop me a PM.

I wouldn't exclude players younger than 30...

Huh, I'm not sure why I typed 30. So far it looks like 27-28 is the transition age between development team and main squad and I already have identified a handful of 28-29 year olds who will probably be in the regular lineup. I even typed under 27 for youth players...

Anyway, yes, don't limit to 30, or any age, really. I'd imagine there'll be few if any players under 27 that'll reach 1400 in Off, Def or Goa including experience, but if they exist, I'm definitely interested.

With a 2-1 regulation win over Russia, not only will we play in the qualifying round, the first time since season 21, but this is also the first 2-win Preliminary Round for our country since season 8.

As much as I'd like to take all the credit for this, Skipman and Canucks definitely had a huge hand in this. Thanks guys for your hard work.

Will take it easy with the boys against Serbia, as first place is pretty safe even with a loss. Not sure how well we can handle those group 1 teams (Hungary and Czechs seem through while Latvia is probably the favourite for 3rd), but I had figured even Germany was going to be a close game, let alone Russia, so you never know.
