Yeah... There's gotta be some leveling off as the seasons progress. I need to start thinking about upgrading my arena to earn some extra bucks.

A few questions. I have been at this about 3 weeks. My short term target was to become more competitive. I spent about 2 million on 13 players and my team OR has gone from 120 to 150 and my rating from to 17. Now I need to upgrade my facilities and I think I should focus on Training Regeneration and Sports academy the most. Of these 3 should 1 get a higher priority?
I have hired at least 2 staff for each facility. No real stars. Thet are mostly OR between 25 and 35. Is there a benefit in hiring a good coach ( cost will be at least 1Million) to increase the training?
I understand building on a 4-3-2 ratio. What about the other skills. Does an offensive player need to build his defensive skills and vice versa? and what about shooting?
Last question for now. How do energy and experience affect a players performance.

hahah wow, that's a lot of questions. I'll answer the first one, and then try to get to the other ones later:

Facilities:
You've got the "Big 3" right: Training, Regeneration, and Sports Academy. I've focused on upgrading those, but haven't completely ignored the other ones. You can see what my facilities are like if you check out my team.

Of those 3, I put the order as: Training (as you can train your current players faster), Sports Academy (as the players you draft will be better, and you'll have more choice for players), and finally Regen (it helps in the training, but is not as big a boost as the actual Training Facilities).

After the "Big 3", I think the best ones to upgrade are the HR department (as you'll be better at scouting and get more money from sponsorships) and Education Center (as your staff that you do hire will improve faster).

I will comment and say that having good staff is a boost to those facilities, and as you build up your facilities, buying a staff person is cheaper than upgrading your facilities. So it is a good idea to get good staff, however, I would wait until you get your facilities up to level 6 or 7 before spending millions on staff members. That money would be best spent on the facilities themselves.

Bruce Hayles becomes the 7th player to reach 100 career points with the Patches. His two assists in the semi-final win has placed him on that marker with 31 goals and 69 assists in 90 games.

Kenyan Makori Pnyango is a playoff specialist, strutting his stuff when it counts. His hat trick in the last game now gives him 5 goals and 6 assists in 4 playoff games with the Patches. Go Mac!

Question: If a team wins the playoffs without the PRO pack and then gets the PRO pack, will that trophy be added to his shelf, or is the trophy forfeit at the time of the playoff win without the PRO pack, no matter whether they get the PRO pack later?

I would imagine that it's something stored on the DB and only revealed if you have pro pack. So i think if you won the playoffs and then bought pro pack, I would expect a trophy to show up.

This division is starting to get very interesting. There have been some interesting results among the top 6 and the schedule over the next week or so has some very interesting match-ups. I wonder what the top 6 will look like next weekend.

Another 5 games and everyone will have played each other once. My goalie played awful today. I will bring in my my younger guy now.

You heard it here first, Daan Stegehuis is now riding the pine for the Magicians. The starting job is Ralph Ezard's to lose.

My thinking is that by the playoffs Ezard will have the highest OR and goalie attributes. Its not about now its about the playoffs. Ezard OR today 191 (Stegehuis 162 )but Ezard will be 220 by the playoffs. Scouted Q 71. Goalie attribute Q's 93-80-80. Training gains double Stegehuis.

My bigger decision comes in 3 weeks. Upgrade training to level 8 or increase arena size as this week I had my first sellout.
