The Knights have just made it through to the quarter finals of the cup winners cup, which is by far my best go at an international cup.
Also starting to believe we may be able to win the league! 4 tough games against betas, colah, terriers and Atlantic to get through and I'm currently one win up on Trueblue. May come down to goal difference this year in which were both currently equal. At the very least Trueblue will have to work for it this year! Haha

Much credit to you for building a great team. I've enjoyed this season more than most others... I love a challenge and losing the league sure doesn't bother me the least. I'd rather have good competition and lose than destroy all in my path.
Well, u must have done sumthing right if u able to be still at the top just few more to go, that's for sure

I can understand that. Much of my success earlier on was due to a great keeper. Then, as soon as my midfield became strong and my forwards found the net, there was no stopping them. I've focussed on my young keeper much the last few seasons so have let more goals in, but it's worth it to build a potential NT keeper. I'm not looking forward to the day when Kane Billington leaves my team, he's been in a league of his own for so many seasons it's going to be hard to fill his shoes.

that's right, it might be very difficult to let old players walk away without filling gaps with youngsters and YES it is worth it. I have few quality home grown players that are cheap and play well, even if they aren't superstars so yes, I know exactly how u feel..
regarding to my keeper, I was looking for one such a long time, just either not enough $$$ or time to bid. It cost me $119mil, surely it is worth it

I sold my foreign main keeper earlier in the season - I am now playing a future Aussie star in goal so good experience for him...
No amount of money is too much if you can find a game changer, or game saver in the case of a goalie.
As NT manager at the moment, I have a similar dilemma with Billington. But since one of the obvious replacements for me is Daniel Roberts, another of your players, I don't think you'll have to look too hard for a replacement
