those surprises are the best, I'd say
I ended up getting 3 quality defenders, all B, but all above or about 350 so I'll have the brick wall set up in a couple of seasons 
He decided to sell his imports and concentrate on developing a team of local juniors. He's still got a good team with a lot of national junior representatives on board but I suspect he needs to change his game strategy which previously relied on having one superstar striker backed up by a solid midfield. That formation doesn't appear to work when you have one low skill striker so he probably has to go back to a more standard 4-4-2.
I'd like to do that, i only had one striker in my team until the draft though, and he was only about OR450. I'm hoping someone decides to sell a decent Australian striker.
.. shame that I cannot send one of my AUS strikers for a week trial to you as the next 2 matches won't make any difference to me with or without them OR880..

Yeah I've got a couple young low skill strikers now, I'm hoping for a quality one to lead the line.
This is a bit weird
I played with nearly half of B-team on L to save some energy for later and the [soccer_team=4] won only on goals 2:1 (if I do not count the red cards, obviously)

After seven rounds, Prestige, Trueblue, Colah and Knights all outside the top 5. Betas are the only team flying the flag for the old guard. Maybe a changing of the guard? 
It's definitely something, I would not expect (especially Prestige and Trueblue

I don't play any of the big guns til round 11, then I play them all back to back.
My lads are just warming up. Lol
If you look at who's played who, the interesting story is Beta's who have beaten Trueblue and Prestige, largely creating the current table order. He's a good chance to repeat his brother's effort from a couple of seasons back and knock Trueblue off for the title
