The idea makes sense, at least in theory. The problem is, it also runs the chance of upsetting managers who find themselves with teams seemingly weaker than a newbie.

Yeah it's a fine line, however i think in the long run for the game to grow, closing the gap between newbies and some of the top teams would increase the chances of them sticking around.

A high OTR doesn't make a team play better. It's used for seedings in cups and has an influence on sponsorship offers at the end of the season. It's supposed to be a reflection of results.

Romo has a low team strength and is sitting mid table so isn't performing any better than you would expect. There doesn't appear to be any obvious reason why it has a higher OTR so I suspect it's a quirk that will be rectified with further results.

If you look at teams that have signed up more recently in II.4, their OTRs are in the low 200s so it doesn't appear to be a result of any change in the way new team's OTRs are calculated.

Re: Superbad's point about newbies competing with older teams, I agree that's a problem to a degree but cav has shown it is possible to build a reasonably competitive team in a couple of seasons if you know what you're doing.

Well disappointed to get knocked out in Round 3 of the Superleague Cup, but at least can save energy now.

Toby Bulley has had his offered for sale money paid. Unfortunately its at a rookie club, obviously my brother cant sign him but if anyone else is interested you can save him from a level 3 training facility club.

whats his quals. My crappy scouts reckon his speed qual isnt very good.

His qualities aren't great, for an attacking center mid he's not to bad as his shooting is high. Still has potential as his OR is pretty high for his age.

Barca only has 11 players, not much god when you get an injury. Tylko is almost as bad with 13 players.
