Thanks. C/L was kind to me this season. Only 9 players dropped, 4 of which were certain to drop.

Indeed. I have to admit my surprise to seeing my team strength ranked so high in the league even taking into consideration teams that are in training camp. Before the season started I ranked the teams based on the average OR for their top 22 players and expected my team to rank somewhere between 10-12. Experience and chemistry really do have a sizable impact.
huge impact. I found that out last season, switched to a few more experienced guys and went from about 12th the previous season, up to 2nd last season. I've lost some of the EXP this season because of the shitty C/L drops I had, so I'll probably fall back down a bit.
its my understanding that 100% chem is roughly equivalent to a 30% boost in stats. So when you get to where your players main attribute is 300+ thats an extra 100+ being added on for chem.
my entire team is older players with Experience and full Chemistry. it performs quite well for what i have invested in it.
whoa, yah, you've got some old guys. I've been starting to replace guys when they get to 2/6 unless they have insane EXP. However my team isn't as financially solid as some of the others in this league because I've purchased so many of those replacement players over the seasons.
I have a 1/6 guy that I keep just for the sake of watching how shitty his training gets hehe

That's why I'm keeping him around - pending his UFA contract. I just set his training to his weakest Q - just for kicks. Will leave it for a couple days then switch back to auto. He did 0.16 yesterday for a 79 Q.
I bought a lot of players when the first groups of players were becoming RFA. got them for next to nothing because people didn't know the value of them.
