I was able to do that last season, apparently I have more competition this season.

If anyone spots a good young goalie for sale that they aren't interested in (or are interested in but aren't going to buy), drop me a line. Cote has been good to me, but his age is really starting to show, and my sports academy has yet to bring me anything better than him.

Define what a good young goalie is.

I have an 18 year old 6/6 guy with 90s/80s/50s for Qs. But he's the only guy I have that won't be 4/6 next season or worse.

This guy sounds like the kind of goalie I'd like. Is he for sale?

My back-up is 19 and 5/6 CL.
His Qs are 83/83/70
He is also at 718 OVR right now.

Honestly, right now I'm looking for a 15/16 YO goalie that will develop into a 700+ overall (higher is better) goalie by the end of Cote's 1st FA contract (I intend to keep him around for a bit). Anyone who can take over immediately would probably be out of my price range. Honestly though, I'm not rushing this, I've had rotten luck with my goalie youth pulls. Essentially all I've had are Franck Blackburn (would be good if not for his technique quality), Ron Dempsey (Essentially Cote 2.0, not an improvement), Raymond Lamarre (bad technique and passing quality, overinflated goaltending), and Wes Petty (technically came with the team, great sale, terrible player).

Really though, I want a player that I can build my team around for the next 8 seasons (starting when he starts playing) if possible, kinda like what I've done so far with Cote.

The other thing I've got to do right now is clean out my staff. I'm on pace to spend over $120M on staff this season (which isn't really going to help my goal of saving up $1.3B in order to max out my big four facilities)

He could be if the price is right. And his Qs are 94/91/44. Built 2:1:1 with 200+ primary and is 6/6. I think he's 18 so solid career path.

Make and offer. PM me. He is really all I have in terms of a prospect G - so keep that in mind. But I need cash now more than every since I've taken out a hefty loan.

And games like today are why I want a better goalie. 79.41% in an OT loss against a team that I'll be competing with at the end of the season. Anyway, fingers crossed for tomorrow's academy pulls.

slavki, you and I had one heck of a goalie duel there.

Shots, faceoffs, penalties and everything else I keep up with The Mighty Oil, but then my goalie dooms me to failure. I think I may have to replace him by the end of the season. :/
