I'm quite happy with this draft, even if only my first pick looks like he will be good.

This season's youth pulls has been amazing. It's funny how I have great pulls one season, then nothing worth mentionning for 3 seasons, then another good one.

My crop that is now 21 y o is really good. Since then, it's one decent-to-good player per season until this season when I already have 5.

I'm in love with McNicholas and Thornhill.

I hope I'll have my head out of my butt when they go on the market. I'd love to bring them home.

Sadly I just haven't focused enough to think about showing up when the deadlines hit lately.

Send me a PM with a time and day that would suit you and I'll do my best to make the deadline be at that time. I have a few credits left, I think I can use those to set a specific deadline. (Cedric Lo is actually a smidge better than Thornhill, btw, 1 year older but so far perfect CL path if I recall correctly).

Draft gave me a 409 OR, 95/99/75 quality goalie (or 95/91/99/75 center, which his attributes are actually better suited for atm). I'm training passing on him atm and will put him on the market, he ain't bad. Tory Harrod

If anyone wants some of my 200 OR staff, I have a few that have a few years left ot their career, so I'll unload those guys once all the youth players have found a home. Currently selling some near 200 OR guys that have a lot of potential, too.

Oh yeah. Cedric Lo is excellent also.

I'm actually not sure what would be a good deadline for me.. I just haven't thought about the game enough to remember when I should log in to check stuff.

Oof. I paid through the nose, but Lo is staying home.

Couldn't keep McNicholas and Thornhill though. Price rose too high.

They would have fit so well with my young core, but so will Cedrick Lo.

I was not expecting Lo to go for above 100M, holy crap.

I have sold so many players now that the association is keeping 50% of my sales. It's a frickin steal! lol

I've still got a few younger guys that may be worth a look, but I'm down to the bare minimum # of players. I guess tomorrow is youth pull day tho haha.

I hesitated before making that final bid.. but I would have been disappointed not to get one of them and as the price rose on McNicholas and Thornhill, I figured I may as well pay more for the real star.

And oddly enough, getting this young good player may actually launch me into a rebuild.

I have a lot of 21 and under good players coming up and I'm gonna need money for them eventually. So I may decide to sell off some good older pieces in order to generate income in the meantime. I just have to figure out how much and when I wanna start selling.

Krokador should at least hang around and do the chat boards to keep them lively. One of the stronger Canadian voices is in danger of becoming silent...

It may then make you happy to hear I am struggling to let go of my handball team, so I may very well just hang around to foster young talent after all.

I'm just not going to be actively scouting other teams or any help for the NT outside of my own team, however.

Well that's better than nothing. I will put on the handball forum and read the messages like I read the Dutch hockey boards, having absolutely no idea what the $^&% people are saying but nodding my head knowingly. Good! May your handball youth development system live long and prosper...
