Ya we have a pretty good cushion in regard to keeping 3 per. It's a bit of a crap shoot in playoffs anyway. You can finish 1st and play a good team that played the round robin on VL - plenty of luck involved.

Only way to get 4 in a competition is to have a tournament winner the previous season.

I've won the CWC in soccer, maybe more than once. Thing is, soccer is the only one that is regional, not global. So hardly counts. Woo best team out of Canada/USA basically is what it boils down to.

I must've been scouting the wrong players, cuz I only have 2 so far, and considering my previous 3 draft's success at picking an A that was actually a B... well I ain't trusting those numbers. Plus, I pick 3rd, so I need at least one more to make sure I pick one of them.
