Thanks everyone for the input. I decided to go with center. I want to maximize his OR, and I feel he will be more use for the young NT's in that position. Keeping him as a center means his high OR at the start of the season isn't wasted. Long term, I doubt he'll make the senior team due to 5/6.
I, for one, am excited to have a young center like him on the team in two seasons. 
This kind of ridiculousness has been here for a few seasons. "Home ice advantage" shouldn't translate to 3:1 shot ratio.
A lot depends on team strength overall and in each of the strength categories, and how the strength of your team in the tactics you have chosen match up with his strength in the ones he has chosen. Somewhere is a chart that shows significant differences in shots, goals, penalties, and offensive time of possession for each home versus away tactical possibility. At the moment, I can't remember where I saw it, but probably somewhere in a PPM magazine article.
Oh I agree. I understand everyone loses and everything, I'm just floored when games come out so 1 sided like that.

Yeah, thanks to PaulRoedb, we knew it ahead of time and were able to add a bunch of players on NTs in order to save as much canadian talent as possible.
I'll do a rebuild in the next couple seasons (too many UFA-II guys coming due) so there'll be a nice top dog in Canada I.1 shortly.
I have those guys every season. It’s incredibly expensive.
I had 4 or 5 on the same day recently. I have 1.5B in the bank for just this occasion. But won't spend that kind of cash on guys once they start declining.
Ouch, that's a lot! And I need to get rid of some declining players.
Sweet Jesus I came close to beating you Scott. May have been I blessing I forgot to change tactics. Final four is my best showing in NC cup.
