Could the reason be that if the opponent has more tech than my players have even if my tech/agr ratio is 1?
It may have something to do with the opponents team strength, if you play against someone who is equal or better than you, you tend to take more penalties
are your opponents playing you on normal/high? Perhaps their increased intensity also has an affect on your players?
And yes, I chat with many of the USA managers, and i can clearly see on my own team players with good tech/aggr not having penalty problems, and one player I have that I know is a penalty machine because he has abysmal tech, sure enough, he is a penalty machine. But to each their own.

I would like if someone from the PPM team reacted on this subject so that we, managers, wouldn't have to analyze what they wanted with implementing of this option. I suggest that the beginning of the match should be treated as an integral part of the match, because "the beginning" as well as "during the match" are parts of one whole. If I want to reduce the number of lines during the match, I can do so by using one of the other options (depending on the current result etc.), but this option should mean that my team would always (always, during the whole course of the match) play with the same number of lines as the opponents team, and if it is not so, then this option is not so useful.
The tactical option to react to the opponent's withdrawal of the fourth line works as intended. it's not a bug.
I'm not saying that it is a mistake, but it is rather not a quite good solution. The beginning of the match is an integral part of the whole match, and if the opponent starts playing with 3 lines it means that he retrieved the fourth line at the start and that that option should react to that retrieval - to act at the beginning of the match as it would act during the latter course of the match.
Anyway, the point is that if the opponent starts the match with only three lines, I would like my team to also start with only three lines if I have that option checked.

In order for a manager to withdraw a line, they would need to be on the ice first. In other words, start with 4 lines!!
As your opponent opts to start the game with 3 lines, there is nothing to react to.
What you are looking for, is a different issue I think..
You want the ability to mimic your opponents lines at the start of a game when in reality it's YOU, the manager that needs to decide to start with 4 or 3 lines. You have the ability to look at your opponents previous games and analyse what you need to.
I think this is where a managers skills is required, rather than asking PPM to make the choice for you.
After all, your playing a ""management"" game.

And there we go. Like I said, it's not meant to be a crutch for your tactical planning, but to allow you to respond to something happening in game time which you cannot plan for.

I reckon that I have been very very lucky with my yp's. I have had 2 80+ and 4 70+ AVQ pulls.

Football question...training camp is available now. does that count against the upcoming season or not? in other words, if i have one now, will i still get two after the season starts?
