Who really knows. He did play a tactic that statistically isn't working in your favor. My guess is that is team is simply better than yours and either your PP needs tweaking, or his PK is simply very good.
I have the same problem with SH goals against, so i fully understand your pain.

fact is I never had so many SH's against me, I'm already at 3 in league and god knows how many in Champ.League
shit happens, and as I said: SH und PP goals always also needs luck!
I'm not 100% sure here.
Do all players get the same amount of experience when they play, or do PP and PK get extra because they are more on the ice ?

There is an easy way to test it, take 2 players with 0 chemistry/experience, place one on the PP/PK lines and the other not, and see what happens.

Can anyone give me any tips on playing away from home? I have an almost perfect home record with 37GF and only 16GA in 10 games. My away form is atrocious though. Only 11 pts from 11 games and 41 foals conceded. I even played perfect tactics against my last oponents who are the lowest scorers in the league and still lost 6-2. I've had so many bad results away from home now I'm thinking I'll have to start playing on Normal importance to try and change things. I've no idea what else to do. Cheers.
I dont see anything out of the ordinary in your last 3 defeats away from home in the league.
The last 2 teams played normal while you played low, and the furthest back of the 3, you got hammered by playing Forechecking against Offensive.
As I said noting out of the ordinary. You may need to go Normal mentality if your opponents are doing this.
