The thing with the market is it is unpredictable. Those are just my guesses.

Wednesdays at what I feel is between 18:30-20:30 for hotspots on the market> I like the 18:30 to 19:00 myself. Had a lot of good luck in that time. But anytime is hit or miss I guess.

Also set starting bids for 10k. That way you get lots of people bidding and then "tracking your player" on sales and bids. People also tend to bid higher on players who have had many bids from low $ to high % then on players with high initial bids.

I do a lot of what canucks said. If I'm looking to add someone I'll flag all the players currently on the market that meet my criteria by putting down a small bid. That way I can bid on them when it matters.

I've made a suggestion that the devs add in an auto-bid feature which would you give you the option of setting a max bid and having your team automatically bid incrementally higher until it hits that ceiling. I think it would work wonders in terms of regulating the market, which is so unpredictable that canucks' predictions ranged in the 10s of millions.
