Yup yup. Can anyone explain why my players continue to drop in energy- goes by two every game it seems.
Its because you are playing your games on high. Every league game you lose 2 points for each game played that way. You may want to take a minute and read the guide. It is a big help in knowing what you need to do. GL!
You're playing league games on high importance. According to the Guide, your players will lose 2 seasonal energy each competitive (i.e. not friendly) game on high. You should probably be playing regular league games on low or normal and saving high for the last couple games of the season or the National Cup semis/finals if you make it that far.
if you can, depending on opponent strength, try to play league home games on low and games against nonames as well.
To save player energy for the matches at the end of the season and especially playoff games.
Yep, there are no playoffs in soccer, so the need to conserve energy is much less than hockey. Your very first league game is worth just as much towards your final standing as your very last league game. Possibly more, since getting a high league standing early will get you higher home game attendance and more ticket sales.
ah... assumed there would be for promotion and relegation....
Don't worry, I assumed that at first as well.
if you end up in 2nd place you have a promotion game - if you end up in the bottom 4 you get dumped down and the bottom 5-8 have to play a relegation game - so there is a playoff in that sense but it's a max of 1 game and only affects 5 of each 22 teams in the league.
