From the guide:
"Experience
The players gain experience by playing minutes in matches. The more difficult the matches are, the more experience the player gains. Experience has a direct influence on the player's performance in the match."

Thanks=)
That's weird. Do bad teams gain more experience simply because every match they play is difficult?

I certainly hope so. I'm a new team in soccer and need all the help I can get lol
I did. I think it was all about the PRO pack. Before, I wasn't willing to buy it, and I found it too difficult to keep up with. But since I decided to do it, I want to see if I can do it. Of course, I'm quite far behind, but...
Sounds like they are trying to make it better-- Better Academy Pulls. I expect to see you in II.1 or II.3 in 3 seasons.
Lost a thought process-- Make it better for beginners to join after teams have been established.

CREDIT TOURNAMENT- Foudn out that I had 10 credits some how and I joined a tourney- If I make the CWC next year and its played on wednesday and a tourney game is wednesday how does that work?
Are you going to try the "Late-to-the-Party" strategy of buying decent priced vets and focusing on upgrading HR and the stadium?
Since I came in halfway through the season, I am focusing on building the stadium and facilities...I'm actually not planning on buying any players this season. I am going to try to promote (I took over a team in first place) only for the money, which I plan to use for facilities, stadium, and maybe a decent goalkeeper. Then, knowing I will relegate, I will try to build my team through both the SA and player market/selling of old players. That's the plan anyway. Who knows if it'll actually work lol

What zomg is talking about is something Knucklepuck posted a few weeks ago. You basically ignore the staff and most facilities. You only build HR for the first few seasons (up to 12-13).
Build medium/large seats. Once you're getting 100M from sponsors, then you build Doubles.
Only buy cheap older players to get your team competitive as quickly as possible.
Once your stadium is complete (all maxed Doubles), then start on other facilities. Only add staff when they reach level 10-11.
The main idea behind this is to get competitive so you make lots of money, but you don't have any expenses. It seems like a really good plan.

Hmm...interesting plan...I may have to modify mine, but I don't know if I buy into this one all the way yet.
Yeah. It's certainly different. It goes against a lot of what we preach to the new players, but damn it if it doesn't make sense. You can save so much money doing it this way, and still make as much as any other team.
When you do get to the point that you're ready to build the other facilities, it'll only take one season and 21M to get them to level 8. By that point, you should be making 15-20M per week.
I think it's the Media contract that can make this work. With the big stadiums, it can be as much as or more than the General sponsor. I wish mine were as good. My media deals are only 35-40% of my general.
