Hello. I am a bit confused: would someone please explain what the smaller sized number in each attribute means? Thanks, and sorry for the dumb question. Mia.
the small number is the quality (or, if unscouted the estimated quality) of that attribute. Higher qualities mean the player trains faster.
Quality is like potential in a skill, it determines how rapidly they will grow when training it. So for example a player who had say, 30 15 in goal has a current skill of 30, but has a low quality which means it will take longer, while a player with say 5 90 has only 5 skill, but a quality of 90 so with proper training it will grow quickly.
BTW, the small numbers are only estimates and they change from week to week. The reason for scouting players is to get exact values for those numbers.
Until you get players scouted, you can simply train players in different skills, since the training speed is related to the Q values (there is some random variation from day to day, but someone who trains at 0.01 is never going to amount to anything at that skill, while someone who gets 0.10 when you haven't really developed your training and regeneration will be a pretty good prospect to develop.
