I tied to a no name after leading them until the last 5 min. and i agree tying sucks especially to a no name.

I'm ready for it to be Friday. The thought of getting a new batch of rookies and it being the kick off for NatCup excites me.
nice match. Interesting variation on my own tactics. Although I am curious why you played on high, that is so unlike you.
Really not sure what to do about practices yet. Seems like players need a whole lot more than 3 skills to be successful. I need to think on my approach....
I've basically been playing the same tactics and only varying intensity, but in the long term I'm sure that won't work.
But I'm no expert at soccer (only watch a few world cup matches when it comes around) so figuring out countering formations is going to be a task.
In real soccer, do teams change formations often, or just shift a few players on the pitch forward or back in the zone?

I've been shutout four league games in a row. FOUR SHUTOUTS! At least two of them were on Normal. So I had to play on High. Although, to be honest, I don't ever remember making that decision. I was surprised to see it even though I knew it was probably necessary.
And I have no idea what to do with tactics, training, or formations. I'm mostly training the main attribute. My tactics are either very aggressive/hurry type stuff to ultra conservative. No rhyme or reason to it. I'm just screwing around. My formation changes just about every day. Sometimes because of injuries, but mostly just because.

Very frustrating. I'm hoping this is just because all of our teams suck right now. Hopefully things will start to make sense once there's some separation. For now, I'm pretty much randomly changing things.
I pulled a 174OR player the other day. Another d-man And his AQ is only 36 I desperately need to pull a good forward. Does anyone have a really good forward? I might be forced to convert my top guy from a mid to a forward if his Offensive Q comes back anywhere close to his Mid Q.

when you look at the forwards on the market you keep seeing guys with 25 offense and offense is their lowest quality...seems to be an epidemic.
This might be anecdotal, but, the average quality in the initial roster issued for my team in soccer had a much higher ratio of sub-30 unscouted AQ as compared to my hockey teams initial roster. Without any large sample, it just feels like the AQ of soccer players at the outset of a teams creation is drastically lower then in hockey.
Or maybe I just got the dirty end of the stick when my teams roster was randomly generated.

You got the dirty end of the stick Check out the Rented Mules in III.4. He's got some sick looking players.
Let's try a team link again: [soccer_team=30475]

Looks like I might have. I have 1 player AQ 70+ and 1 60+. Only 2 players 170+.
I want to roll again.

That's what my two forwards look like. They're unscouted, but 16 & 35 Q for offense is pretty crap. Their shot Qs are just as bad at 16 & 45. That's pitiful. It looks like my best offensive Q players are my very good Mid, starting LD and back-up goalie. I've been training the LD and back-up goalie in the secondaries until I get them scouted. They might become my new forwards.
