i agree 100% with this statement

I think to sum our candidates ....

Outsider - reliable manager who is a contributor to PPM. Has experience and sure know what it takes to select players. Has yet to prove he understand tactics, but most (if not all) of us also need to prove.

Tesco - won D2 and promoted to D1. Struggling to find balance(when to play low or high). Does not have experience and not proven to know what it takes to select players. although, hey, this is first national season. it is almost obvious and very few mistakes can be done.

WasUp - Has not promoted on first season but is having a solid season and could promote. Has showed passion. WasUp looked somewhat lost when he was considering low OR players earlier on his spreadsheet. However, he has shared info and plans allowing us all to help him on the right direction. Has showed interest in bringing international manager as assistant when many locals have showed interest as Outsider, Tesco, Bulls4ever among others.

I personally was leaning towards WasUp but after learning he has selected an international manager as assistant I am leaning towards Outsider now.

I have a feeling unless an experienced person and I mean someone with a VERY significant amount of logins is elected, that this could end very badly. Even though I haven't been around that long as some of the much more experienced managers, I have seen many who seem sooo enthusiastic, post every 5 seconds on the forum, etc die off quietly into the night just as fast as they came in. Just call me extremely skeptical.

I think any manager can just disappear .. being him/her experienced or not.

I think the problem is not related to being experienced or not, but maturity ... We've seen managers disappearing and not even setting an assistant manager.

Someone mature enough to understand just leaving would cause harm to others ... someone that would give email, setup sitter ...

so I guess another factor is AGE

Outsider: 23
WasUp: 18

hey hey enough on the age. P.S. I have stated that I am happy helping out. Bulls you put too much thought into this.

p.s. the reason for the energy and losing games is because I have not been blessed with the SA pulls that most of the teams in D1 have had. Zero pulls above 220. 3 pulls above 200 ( only one this season) I have one of the weakest teams in D1 yet I sit tied for 4th.

I think i am bored that you guys that applied are not posting much plans/thoughts for the career as Senior USA Manager. And that the board is slow

I think it would be interesting to hear all of the candidates actually post their thoughts about how to best use tactics in handball.

In addition, I think it would be best for all of the candidates to collaborate. There's no reason why one candidate and what they have to offer should have to be chosen to the exclusion of the others. Even if WasUpNerd won, WasUpNerd could still listen to what the other candidates and interested managers have to say about choosing players and tactics to the extent that they might offer ideas that WasUpNerd might not have though of; alternatively, WasUpNerd could still contribute to scouting and the database I think he was going to have developed while working with whoever else won.

I think that all 3 candidates are viable; I will probably just support whoever has the fewest preferential votes to help eliminate any bias for now, though I don't know who I will vote for yet.

If any less experience candidate would hope to have a chance in future elections, I think WasUpNerd is at least setting a good example for what it would take.

I have seen that a lot has been happening since I left this discussion two days ago. bulls4ever I would like you to be my assistant because you showed how important you are. I will take citelus advice because he is one of the best mangers in the whole PPM. I thought that by bringing him into US National team would help me but it only hurt. I asked many times for assistants and no one has ever contacted me except for bull. About my age: I will soon go to collage but I have time and as it might seem that only one person is showing under this account it is not true. Me and my friends spent some money on this game and are trying to figure out the best ways.

P.S. I am glad to hear that mangers are interested in the US National team. I have been looking forward to it sense even before handball. I am the only one who has started researching very deep { probably the only one} I am trying to get people

play this game so we have better chances to win and get better players.

P.P.S. I hope that I will win the elections but even if I don't I would like to contribute in NT in various ways. Although if I lose the elections the game is going to lose the spark for me ( us ). But no worries

That is what I am trying to do. I would love to get everyone to contribute. ( as I said earlier. ) And also get advice for my self.

I think I have told probably the most about my predictions for the team don't you think Although I have left out the tactical part off cause I am still not 100% sure on that one. I have not seen Tess or Outsider post anything about they're predictions so guys!! Show what you've got

To be fair, I sent you a couple of pm's expressing my interest in helping you with the NSHT wayyy back in July and never heard back from you lol.

I don't know if that's what you mean about asking many times for assistants, but I thought i'd throw it out there haha.

To the point of discussion though, I remember that at least one person in that NHST thread dismissed WasUpNerd as a spammer, and worse, a purveyor of viruses. WasUpNerd started that thread in on May 26th of this year. That's pretty much the first day of the first season.

So he's been talking about the National team, and trying to drum up excitement, scouting, etc. for it for a season and a half now. We're electing a national manager for 1 season. If he's already devoted 1.5 seasons to the National team (when there isn't even a team to manage), I personally think we owe it to him as a community to at least give him a crack at it. Call it passion, or whatever you want, but I'll take what he's doing any day over someone who just throws their name on the ballot... The fact that bulls4ever has offered to assist him with some of the technical aspects, is even better.

Worst case scenario, he sucks and we vote him out next year. Best case scenario, he's an awesome national manager who invigorates the national team and the u.s. handball community. This is my idea of a low risk, high possible reward venture.
