lost 61M in sponsorships this year since my high marketing manager retired. feels impossible to maintain a handball team thats somewhat competitive

Finances are definitely rough in handball. I worry what would happen to sponsorships if the U.S. ended up folded into the Otherworld league. We barely have enough teams to maintain a second league outside of I.1 at this point.

yeah, I wonder if theres anything we can do to keep some of the newer guys around just so we have a bit more of a cushion for that second league

Why don't you hire one right before the sponsorship offers come in? Even if they are not from the US the extra cost of them is pennies comparing to the lost 61M mentioned by you.

Focusing on the facilities and improvements that boost the money income is a priority: stadium build out to the max capacity, the human resources and economic department improved to the max, x/100 managers for the time of sponsorships coming in. Additionally slowly working on getting that overall team rating as high as possible, not having more that 25 players, firing the ones who have high wages but are not used much, firing the extra staff that is costly and not working, etc. - those are the things we can control. The other stuff, like the overall league rating is out of our control as a single manager really.
The merger of US league into the otherworld might not be the worst for the our best teams. Look at Denmark. Their leagues were incorporated a few seasons ago and their top teams are doing better than ever.

All, we don't have a U-21 national team coach. I took a U-19 national coach of Norway position, but if somebody wants to reach out to support to become a coach and then assign me as their assistant I can continue the job.

I have the stats on just about every US player if any new person needs them, can make the U21 job much easier

Me and jerthebear solved it. He will be the main, but I'll try to run it as an assistant for the last time. It sounds like he will be taking over the next season. It would be nice to get some help and suggestions about the U21 players. Anyone we are missing in the roster currently that's worth adding?
