as a blues fan , ditto. well at least we know one of us is finaly going to the cup.

Well the series isn't over. we don't even have a 3-1 lead yet and the change to Jake Allen may spark the blues.

they always try to replace Elliot every year they bring a goalie in that's supposed to take his job but he always pretty much beats them and keeps it. Allen is a number 1 goalie on a lot of teams ( after all they dumped bishop to keep these two)the rest might do Elliot good. they might just stay with Elliot I dunno ive been real busy have not read nothing lately. they cant win if they cant score no matter who the goalie is .

I put the blame on the forwards not coming back so defenseman have to back in and you just cant do that against a good fast team. they really just don't look like the blues the last two games usually they are a very patient team coming out of their zone and now they just flip puck out and hope for odd man break and give up posesion. they ussualy use tons of drop passes then enter zone as 5 guys last two games they insist on going forward and lose the posesion. the next game will tell the whole story I'm sure Hitchcock is saying the same thing right at this moment. they are not the blackhawks they should not try to play the Blackhawk breakouts (flip puck high n hope for a homerun) wow that's a lot of words sorry lol

The blues need to stop playing wear down physical hockey because it didn't work for the Kings and its not working so far. They need to out speed the sharks and out maneuver the sharks. Nashville did best when they used their speed and skill to out flank the sharks.

As good as Allen is he can't score goals so the blues forwards need to step up and start scoring or else this series is over.

Actually, I put the blame on Hitchcock. It always fascinated me how many different tactical strategies you can come up with using the 5 players on a hockey rink. What is really interesting, though, is that Hitchcock only uses one or two. That rigidity is a good part of what got him canned in Dallas. It was the most published complaint of players. The Blues have the players to work several other formations and strategies. Some of which would work very well against the Sharks. But, they don't. So, I look at Hitchcock as the culprit.

Wow, there seems to be a ton of gaining talk about replacing Murray. I'm not so sure I would though.

its only 3 games, I still think the blues will win theres a lack of open ice hits which usually result in a temporary injury for a period or two and then the retaliation penalties.

I also think thornton deserves more praise than he gets if he was in la or ny .......... hes a bonafide stud to me hes a top ten player in the league possibly top 5. and martin who ? where the heck did this guy come from hes playimg like stonewall Jackson fought wars hes not giving up an inch.

I don't get the all the praise about brit burns he gives up more goals than he contributes to have not seen him much but he looks poor in this series to me I think his turnovers have led to 4 goals in this series already ( he gets praise by comentators then the promptly turns the puck over and its in sj net, I might be wrong but ... )
