good luck with the Wookies or myself in round 1... I guess it is possible to pass the Corsairs if you win out and beat him on goal difference. Maybe improbable, but theres a chance.
Unfortunately that relies on the Corsairs dropping all of their remaining games, and I'm the last team they play. Since I couldn't even squeeze past the Bananas after they went AI, I don't think I'll be able to help keep that goal within reach for bulls4ever.
i have no chance to pass the corsairs. dont even think i will win a match till the playoffs
Defeated north stars but other than almost secure 7th place it was an useless win

True. Not that I'll make a dent in the playoffs either way...even if I wasn't completely overmatched, I spent a lot of energy in the second half to even make the playoffs and now my guys are completely beat. I was really just hoping to draw the Corsairs in the second round rather than the third so I could finish a little higher for the sponsor cash.
lol, i was surprised as i thought 7th place was locked and for my surprise it wasnt. very close !!! proud to be ahead of you

Wow. Just saw Willmott was able to get a win... odds that Wookies play on High 1st half next game?
I'm hoping willmott pulls the upset, but at the very least forces Wookies to spend some energy
and i didn't even check the results.... willmott advanced! wookies went low on energy, got beat on tactics, had twice as many shots but lost in a shootout. Odd move not to go normal at least, wonder if he is trying to avoid promotion
Wow! That was unexpected. I figured he'd switch up tactics or invest some more energy or something for game 3, but I thought my best shot would be to keep my tactics just in case. I guess I was right!
I doubt- maybe thought it was a sure thing and DIDNT pay attention this week-
