Seems like soccer is dead in the US. I haven't checked my team for a month, lost 7 players to free agency, and my team is still 2 points from the first place after half a season.

Wonder if this is the fate of basketball as well...

I just pulled this guy, the best I have ever pulled in basketball. Scouting him now, but I can already tell you I don't have the facilities to develop him properly. Anyone interested? Darrell Morrison

You could try the mark for sale option and list him at the minimum price you'd be willing to accept.

Unfortunately, the CL might kill his value. I recently sold a 5/6 CL center with elite OR in hockey with the following relevant qualities: 73-99-99-99. I got a little over $4m for him. You could always wait until he's 17 with 5 CL (and hope he doesn't drop to 4 at 17).

There's a significant risk that he could go to a team with worse facilities if you do sell him. Your facilities are also probably good enough at this point (or at least they will be by the end of the season).

Honestly, I don't think he has a future on the senior team with 5/6 CL no matter what his qualities are. He might have a chance on the youth national teams depending on the competition at his position. He could develop into a useful player for your team at the tier II level though.

His best results will probably come by training him on the fewest attributes possible, and focusing on the major ones with the highest training values. This should keep him relevant longer. Also, hope that he "takes his time" progressing through the CL cycles.

What's weird is their player histories also include a contract extension on the same day they arrived. So...a weird glitch I guess.

I really messed up this season by forgetting to change my tactics back from very hard for the first ~25% of the season. It didn't help that I bid on maybe 100 players to improve my team and only got 3 since I never seem to manage to log on during the deadline for players I want. Luckily, I still managed to eke my way into the semifinals, though there definitely won't be another upset against Cibona 1983 this season.

After 13 years of PPM, it's time for me to retire. All of my players and staff in all four sports are for sale next Sunday. Good luck to all remaining and future managers!
