Roy Needham is a SF. I am not sure why you are mentioning him in PF context. As a SF he is actually pretty good.
You have not scouted John Buck , yet you criticize why he is not called up... Well, you have just ended any meaningful conversation right there. It kinda shows that you are just a back seat driver who obviously knows everything best, except actually driving.
I suggest you scout John Buck . You will clearly see why he has played 0 games.
My only regret is picking him for NT before scouting him myself.

Ok, I conceed the point about John Buck . How about Nicholas Brewster ? He is much better(and probably would be even better as PF), as you could see in the last friendly game.

But you also just proved by yourself my original point! I am mentioning Roy Needham as PF, because he played ALL the games in PF position. You don't even bother to check where you put him to play!

I think overall Eliza has done good work with the U17 team. I haven't paid as close of attention this season with none of my guys getting regular playing time, but in the past she has gotten the most out of the team, so the manager gets the benefit of the doubt from me.

I was wondering about the energy thing myself, but I've never been a national team manager, so I have no idea how fast that drains. Maybe that's an adjustment to make going forward. I appreciate the shout out for some of my young players, but I think for the most part the right personnel decisions were made. Whenever there's been a tossup in player choice, it often goes in the way of the manager's own players, but that's fine by me as being a perk of being the manager. At the young ages especially, a match rating can be dragged way down by one or two minor attributes being in the 40s even though the guy is clearly better in the important attributes. I really don't think the game properly accounts for that in the match rating and it's part of why some teams with apparent lower ratings pull off "upsets" from time to time.

I will say I hope we get a new manager at U19. It looks like we have a couple people throwing their hat in there. I wish I had more time to take a shot at it, but this time of year is very busy for me. Every friendly slot not scheduled is a missed opportunity for training bonuses for all the players called up. If lost energy is a concern, play backups or play on low intensity, but those training boosts are important for developing our players.

Did sponsor money go down for this coming season for everyone? Seems like I'm taking a big hit compared to last season.

In the second div... numbers are roughly the same.

My 1 star offer was 1m per week lower than my 5 star sponsor from last season. I think I might end up getting more money. I was a top team in II.3 that didn't promote for both seasons (though my OTR should be continuing to grow).

You qualified for international competitions last year, which was supposed to boost your sponsor money, so maybe that explains something.

My contracts are a bit lower, but I did worse this season compared to last, so in general I think it's about the same. I think one can look at prize money for league position, as it seems to correlate with leagues ratings, and I assume sponsor money. The first place prize was quite stable around 17M for the last 5 seasons.

I am getting lower in all areas sponsorship, media and grandstands.

Sorry, but I agree with Eliza on the energy point. On the two junior teams, the added chemistry and experience far outweigh the energy loss, especially if your chances of advancing are not good!

I have decided to leave the game, as it no longer holds interest for me. In fact, I don't think it has been exiting for some time now, as nothing new is happening and it's feels like just rinse and repeat.
