The end of the road. No regrets on this season's tournament - the loss to Finland was ugly but so was our goaltending. Still, Gauthier pulled out the stuff against the US when needed and we certainly can't blame our tending for the loss to Sweden. I thoroughly enjoy this job and hope to keep doing it in some capacity somewhere else. A big thanks to all those GM's who voted for me in the past and good luck to the team in the future!
Oh, and here is one for Hungary. You will get Banks in net tonight and all of the 17 year old's that you can handle. For the incoming GM and the headstart on chemistry with the kids...you are welcome! [smiley face icon]
Congrats on some good work done with the U18s. Your dedication was very appreciated.
Some of our players are on the market right now.
Let's try to keep them in house (to a team with good facilities) or at least make sure they go to a good team if they go abroad.

I was also bidding on a 30yo on the senior NT, but when the bidding went over 150m I gave up. I have players that'll get there eventually, that I don't need to pay a fortune for. haha. And a ton of youngsters that may not, because their CL is on the lower end. I'll be keeping an eye on stinson, too.
Wow. That is a lot of money! I guess when my arena and facilities will be done building i can start stockpiling to compete with the best teams. In the meantime, I am as cheap as the Ottawa Senators!
Being in I.1 for a season certainly boosted my finances. It'll be a bit harder this season, though, since my weekly income has dropped by a good 30% or more. I'm "lucky" in that I don't have a ton of highly desirable veterans for which I have to pay a ton to keep when to go UFA, but that may change somewhere down the line.
I had to save Stinson from RusArmy (they always bid on all the canadian NT youth when I am, for some reason) and another team who had 52M to burn, but only lvl 4 training facility and a tiny arena... Like where the F are your priorities, dude, don't destroy one of our best U20 prospect, please?! -_-'
Thanks. It is strange that some people even have that much money and so terrible facilities. That's over 110M on two players hehe. You save Canada's youth

Here is an interesting young canadian defenseman that I would like to see go to a team with good facilities. His OR is a bit low, but with, his (seemingly) teremendous Qs as well as full developmental time, I think he could be a good one. Sadly for me, I wont be around when the bidding stops.
I will update with scouted Qs when I get them..

So as promised, here are the scouted Qs. Not quite as high as previously thought, but still very solid. Avg Q is 86.
D 88, sho 94, pas 80, tec 91, agr 91

Hmm. My initial impression was that anything below 400 OR at pull is probably not worth mentioning in NT convos, but if someone like Molson is worth talking about, what's the thought on Brennon Hogg ? Haven't scouted yet, but is a 377 OR with 88% QR (though high GOA). I'll report back with scouting tomorrow or Friday, but if the impression is he's got a shot, I'll consider selling him if someone with better facilities and (perhaps more importantly) coaches would be interested...
With the country shrinking in terms of number of managers, the requirements also lower a little. Personally, a sub 400 player would not interest me later in thethe season, butt Hogg could be almost at 600 by the end of the season which is in line with a possible participation in the U18s down the road.
Now, Molson did not fetch much so I can't ask you to put him on the market, but, for example, if you did an early training camp where he could gain 25 points in 7 days, along with his nice Qs (if the setup is good), I would think he could bring in some good money.
