A 2-1 win today over Brazil means we will finish 3rd in Division one again! That's three of the last four years!!! So close to going back up!!! Just one win away!!! Thanks to everyone for their training efforts!!

After a tough season , last season which left us relegated to Division II mostly through bad breaks. This season threatened to be a repeat when our top goalie went down with a seven day injury after game one!! However, the back-up goalies came through, and we are advancing back up to Division I! Thanks to all for your training efforts!!! Congrats to both U20 and U18 teams on both making the final four this season!! Good luck to both!!! It's not easy, given the relative number of countries who have more teams than we do!!

After 18 seasons at the helm of the senior team, the position will now be open as I hope to continue my efforts with the U18 team, after the departure of "georgejeanne" as manager!! I will be available, if input is desired by the new manager of the senior team!! Many thanks to all of you who have supported over the last 18 seasons!!

You have been great for the team. A nice era of stability and good results. It can be a great experience for some other GM to tiy around with the best players in the game. If i had any time to spare I would throw my hat in the ring. Alas, i am a father now

Another fairly good day as 2 out of 3 Canadian teams prevailed yesterday. Keep it up boys!
Welp. Not as good today as all 3 teams lost. Tomorrow is a new day.
The senior team has made it into the quarter finals of Division I.! Today they play Switzerland for a chance to play in the semi finals.
This guy should be looked at for the NT. He's 23, 4/6 and has 168 exp already:

He has been scouted for a while. He has a little more experience than 6 of the "rookies" that are on the team now, but he is at least 600 points behind in OR.!! The average defenseman on the team now, has 207.4 experience, and an OR of 2777.6. The average starting defenseman last season, had experience of 246, and an OR of 2802.

I look at our results and it's a disaster. I hope that we will not show the same hockey at the WC, that would be another unpleasant shame. The truth is that we played in training, while the opponent played at full strength. I believe that we save the strength of the team for the important matches.
