It was rather considerate of Itero Genesis to fold on the exact day that they play my team.
And less than a week after playing my team. Grr
I'm a bit surprised that the game against the Cobras turned out so well. I thought they might upset my team. Now I can afford to lose to all four top 8 teams I play and hold onto 3rd; I only play four other live teams beyond those teams.
Of course, my team won't have any energy left by the time the playoffs come around at this rate. Even if I fluke my way into first, this is still probably the Crackers' year.

Except for the important matchup between the Bruisers and HCD Crackers on Monday, all of the other matchups seem to be set up. Playoffs start in one week. Hopefully the Thunder can hold on to a top 16 spot so four dead teams can be relegated.
Of course. Playoffs are about to begin, and my star player gets injured for two weeks. Thankfully I'm not trying super hard to promote this season...
I'm regretting throwing my last game against the Bruisers (I was guaranteed third at that point), even if my chances against them wouldn't have improved much. Now I get to play two games against the HCD Crackers.
My goaltending and defense have really been showing up in the playoffs – Only 5 goals allowed in 3 games. I just need them to keep it up for one more game against the Bruisers to secure a top 2 finish.
Congrats on making the finals. You probably have a chance against the HCD Crackers. I at least manage to keep my games close, and all of my players are exhausted; I've probably lost 20 overall team strength since the beginning of the season.
Thanks. I'm hoping I can beat the Crackers. My players have between 80 and 82 energy, so that shouldn't be a problem. My star scorer will be returning for game 2 of the series, but I will have to play game 1 without him. His team is so talented, though, that I'm not sure if it will make a big difference.
Holy balls. I guess that makes sense, though. I played on Very Low for almost all of the second half of the season.
Lost my first game by a somewhat decent margin. If I lose, I'll have to play Slatington for promotion. Unless I can pull off an upset on either team, it's looking like I will be staying in II.2 for at least one more season.
Dang, lost by a goal. Oh well, congrats to the Crackers. He has deserved to be in I.1 for a few seasons now. I hope he can do well up there.
Oh no... I won my first promotion game. There's no way I want to promote to I.1. The Unicorns will get destroyed. Especially since I'm selling 9 of my top players. But at the same time, I don't want to tank on game two. Bit of a sticky situation here.
