He's currently in a camp, maybe he placed all of his goalies in the TC? Or I suppose it automatically generated his lineup. Either way, I'm happy with the win.
Also, the Direwolves pulled off a nice win against the Bruisers. Definitely not an upset that I would have predicted.

Haha, A little bit of both. I ran a camp with all my goalies in it and forgot to switch my line up down to 3 lines. Totally screwed up my camp dates.
Really loving the competitiveness this season. Only 4 points between first and seventh at the moment. Hopefully we can keep this up!
Since some teams have had easier or harder competitition up to this point, the standings might yet reflect the actual level of competitiveness.
ThisTeam and the Dire Wolves have definitely been surprises, though both have difficult schedules over the next 7 games.
There are also a few teams in the bottom 8 capable of eventually making a run competing for a playoff position as well.

That's my third loss in 3 weeks where I have outshot the other team by at least 2:1 while earning about a 5% shooting percentage. At this rate, I might as well play all games on very low and play my B squad every other game.
Dang, finished in 4th place after a loss in the last game to Momentum. Oh well, it was still a good season, and I'm satisfied with my placement. Now I just need to get top 4 in the playoffs, and I'll be all set!
It doesn't really matter too much - the top 4 teams are fairly even, though you have a slightly weaker team since you sold a bunch of players earlier this season, and the Bruisers are the slight favorites. I almost played that game on very low, but I didn't feel like playing the Bruisers in the semifinals.
I was trying to avoid the Grinders in the first round, since I always have trouble beating him, but he apparently dropped to sixth anyway. So I suppose I'm glad I fell to 4th!
My team will be a little bit stronger by round two of the playoffs. I have a top line defenseman and a second line winger missing from my lineup due to injuries, though I'm not sure how much of a difference it will make against the Bruisers.

The defensemen should help a lot if he can bring your defense close to at least 140.
The Bruisers aren't much better on defense on offense. Their main strength is in their goaltending and shooting.
I guess that I play the Grinders in the first round. I don't mind playing the Grinders; it's the Flying Refrigerators that seem to upset my team from time to time.

I think that the Brookyln Hornets and Islanders will demote to this league next season. Whoever takes second in the playoffs of these league might have a good chance at promotion this year.
The Islanders look they will demote. They also haven't logged on in 39 days.
Any of the I.1's four remaining 13th-16th place teams could still play this league's 2nd place team for relegation. Hopefully it won't be the Slatington Serpents.
I've made the finals in the playoffs (still undefeated) for the first time ever (I was promoted byb league realignment). It's great to see the Bruisers and Rainbow Unicorns beat up on each other for another game. I hope that the Rainbow Unicorns win

If I somehow do win this series, you shouldn't have a problem with the championship round. My players are nearly dead. Though the thought of the two of us playing for a championship sounds quite fun. I've always considered you to be my rival in hockey – not because I dislike you or anything, but in all four seasons that I have been in II.2, we have never finished more than one position apart in the standings.
Now I need to figure out a way to beat the Bruisers. Balls.

Dang, I lost 6-2. Good luck to both teams in the final - with any luck, both of you will promote anyway. Hopefully I can beat out the Cobras for 3rd, but it's not really a big deal if I don't.
Now I'm hoping to assemble a team that can win the championship. Since my stadium will be nearly done by the halfway point of this season, that frees up a lot of money to use on some high level players.

It seems that the Islanders, who are about 8 days from folding, will demote to this league. 2 out of the Rainbow Unicorns/Carolina Cobras/(one of Momentum/Bruisers/Slatington Serpents) should make the finals next year, unless someone else in the league makes significant investments in players. The loser of the finals will probably have slightly less than a 50-50 chance against the Slatington Serpents.
Your stadium is actuall only halfway done, unless you're just trying for the VIP sponsors at this point. It might be worth it to buy some players to get the promotion bonus and improved sponsors before finishing the other half though.
Luckily, my stadium finished in time for the finals. I should have 14,000 to 15,500 seats by the end of next year. In two years, I should finish my stadium and finally start improve my training facilities. In three years, I might be ready to rebuild. I'm relying mostly on older players now and younger players who won't get the benefit of good training facilities. I might take an extra year to maximize my HRE from 13 to 15 as well.

I suppose I could have worded that better... Basically, I'll have the money to max out the capacity on four triples before the sponsors come in. I just bought a 1250 OR goalie from Ziggy, and I'll fill out the holes in my roster after the stadium upgrades. It should be enough to promote, the only problem might be chemistry, but it shouldn't be too big of a deal.
