I feel like England kind of understands it has no chance at all with the national side to even compete. So don't think people are that fussed about it. 
Indeed moleman - especially in the European competition. I had the best chance as our starting crop of players was not terrible and well trained, but the gap is widening so much now, there is little that can be done to close it.
Maybe when the junior competitions come in again, we might have a shot at those, but not until then.
