Wondering that as well. Everything I've seen is 2-1-1 training primary to secondary.
i think this one where he mentions about 24-10-10 (that is close to 100-40-40)

Thank you. That is the post I mentioned. The goalie in question is currently at 84 energy but has been bad all season. He has 41 experience and 99 chemistry. The article says optimum is between 24-10-10 and 27-10-10, so 100-40-40 certainly falls in that range.
Your keeper is underperforming. Your goalie rating (150) is 12th best in your league but your saving-% (87,0) is 18th best. Last season your keeper was much better (90,0%) and actually played slightly better than what could have been expected. Give him some time and I bet his % will go up.
The article in Magazine is based on assumptions that have not been proved nor confirmed. The reason why 2-1-1 is the most common ratio is that it gives the highest rating stars. It may not be optimal if there even is any but the spread in match results is so huge that no one has yet been able to say what ratio gives the best results.
Personally I've played for long with higher secondaries than my competitors and haven't found any difference in results between my team and others with players similar to mine in terms of OR and Exp.

But if you read all the comments even the writer of the article in the end realizes 2:1:1 might be the best. Antsa answered regarding the rest.
I wouldn't deviate too much from 2:1:1. All sports seem to follow the same trend:
sum(secondaries)=N*primary
where N=1 in hockey and N=2 in soccer and handball.
That means (1+1)=1*2 in hockey, (3+5+5+7)=2*10 in soccer and something similar to soccer in handball.

handball with its two minor skills seems to deviate a bit from that trend
Not at all:
(3+3+6+8)=2*10 or (4+4+5+7)=2*10... your pick
(3+3+6+8)=2*10 or (4+4+5+7)=2*10... your pick
hm, i'm going 7+5+3+3. maybe i need to adjust something :p
blocking is interesting since it influences defense rating

Indeed, but like shooting, doesn't count towards player ratios.
I'm in the process of developing my arena accessories and wanted to get a better idea of returns on investments. What accessories are worth investing in for the short term. I just finished upgrading my arena to a full large sit-down and was going to use the funds to stabilize my team before slowly upgrading to a three tier. Whats worth investing in for the short term (2 to 3 seasons max) before I demolish and upgrade?)
you should not build any accessory (parking, scoreboard, and etc) until perhaps you have 40-50% of the arena capacity built. none of they will help you at all.
If you mean by accessories snack, restaurant and etc, they provide little money. Press Center and Skybox are worth building. Skybox will give more than just little money (although not much neither) and press center will make your team a bit stronger, playing at home.

I was on the phone earlier. To add to what bulls stated. The souvenir shops will start to really pay off as your players gain those little stars. At first it will be 10-15% but it will increase to around 30% the arena maintenance. Personally I would not build any parking, scoreboards, surface, display until you have maxed out the arena. I would concentrate on press centre, skybox and souvenir shops first. Then I would convert the seats to triple max 2500 every-time you save up 81m. Try to time it for right after your media sponsorship or within the first 10 days of the season. It is worth the wait to build a triple max than a double max. But as you say. You now can use the double max's as anchors to build the triple max's.
