Hi all,
I have a quick question about whether to go with 3 or 4 lines?
How much will fatigue come into play if I use 3 lines as opposed to 4? Does it balance out because I will be using the 5 line-ups depending on the strength of the opposition?
Going with 4 lines forces me to fill out my roster to 40 leaving no room for new prospects or perhaps a good player from the market. if I go with 3 lines it gives me that wiggle room to experiment and buy players from the market or take on a new prospect from the academy and experiment with having a line that will not play at all only practice and see if they progress faster/slower/no difference that a line that practices and plays.
Any help is greatly apprecaited
thanks

You want to run 4 lines. They will lose less energy per game as the energy use depends on their playing time each game. I only go down to 3 lines for really important games or when I run a mid season camp.
Also, having 4 lines doesn't mean you don't have room for prospects. 4 lines with 2 goalies is only 22 players, leaving you 18 roster spots for prospects. Until you get a high training facility and sports academy, I wouldn't bother with many prospects, as they wont amount to much. Sell any really good players you get from the SA as low level facilities won't be able to develop them
