Assunto: Training Camp

I've got a question about setting up training camps...

I know that when you send players to the camp, they don't get the training bonus until the following night. So if i send them to camp on a wednesday afternoon, they won't "start training" and get the training bonus until thursday night.

With that all settled, my question is... can they play in a thursday afternoon game? or no? Basically, I'm wondering if they are "in camp" (as far as game calculation/rosters are concerned) from the moment I send them (ie. wednesday afternoon) or if they officially "start" thursday night?

They can not play on Thursday. Because on the update on Wednesday night they are put in camp.

So then a 7 day camp technically takes your players away for 8 days?

no. if you start the camp before the nightly update it will start the next morning.

if you wait the nightly update then it will start after the next morning, so you can still play the players the day after.

ppm day start at night (for USA). The camp always start one day after the time you set it up.

So if you wait until after the nightly update, your guys can play in games the following afternoon, then start getting practice bonuses that same night?

And when is the nightly update?

Also the update night that they get their 7th day of camp they come out of and can play so they are only out of playing 7 games.

When you send players to camp, they don't get sent to the camp until the end of the nightly update. Training happens at the beginning of the update. So they won't get training bonuses until the day after the camps are announced in your news feed.

-If you send them to camp on Monday morning before the hockey games (or any time before the update starts), then they can still play in that Monday game.
-Camp will be announced Monday night at the end of the update.
-Players can not play in Tuesday's game.
-Training bonuses start Tuesday night.

If you wait until the update ends to send players to camp, then everything is delayed one day. In this case, the camp will be announced on Tuesday night, and training bonuses will start on Wednesday.

The nightly update starts at 11PM eastern. It's finished around Midnight. Players only miss 7 games, unless you choose to send them to camp for fewer days.

aha. gotcha. basically i guess my question was whether or not you could game it so you only miss 6 games, but train for 7 nights.

With 3 regular season games a week, I was seeing if I could do it so I only miss 2 games haha.
