I feel stupid on that one but does anyone know what effect the captain has?
In hockey, the guide says the captain makes all his line better, but I can't find anything like it in the handball guide.
Or is it just an "honorific" title that has no impact on the games?

Hmm. That's interesting. I didn't know it had much of an effect in hockey. Good to know.
As for handball, my captain seems to be played the best and I'm not sure why. I had a theory that the captain played better/had the ability to change momentum but I never followed up on it.

He's doing well, but not better than similar players in my lineup. And my new captain is Aiken, who's by far my best player (202 OR, 50 goals in his first 4 games). Makes it hard to tell.
I've actually been enjoying this game. When I started I didn't really like it because I know nothing about handball, but it's grown on me. And it's fun to start on an even playing field rather than 10 seasons in like hockey.

Ditto. It helps I am doing well in I.1, whereas the other sports I am so far behind I don't know if I will ever catch up
You can catch up. Habs72 is a perfect example of that. Made it to I.1 in no time and is a div2/div1 team just like me and I started on day 1!!!
I don't know if I will last. I do not like it so far. We'll see
Why not? Can always auto-pilot and check once each week to help NTs with pulls.
