At the level you are right now don't worry about the shooting attribute. Making a set-up man. You'll be fine in the lower leagues with this guy. When your team gets better perhaps you'll get better players to replace this guy.
Never heard anyone call quality "learn" before. I had to re-read your post twice to catch on. But question, if you call it learn then why call it AVQ instead of AVL? 
Actually, "learn" is probably more accurate and less confusing than "quality" anyway. Perhaps "learning quality" would work?

my team have pulled some of the greatest youth players. check them out. i had to sell most of my talented youth bcuz of my huge squad size

Got a potentially nice center, Leroy Brackett . 15 yrs old, 6/6, and unscouted Q's of 95/99/99 for Off/Pas/Tec. Only flaw is shooting showing at 69 - hopefully that goes after scouting .

wow dude. If those numbers hold, and if people are right about shooting not being too much help for centers, you've got yourself a potential franchise guy right there.
He scouted out as 99/96/99/69, Off/Pas/Tec/Sho so I'm pretty happy. Weird that the scouts only called him a 4 star player too, would've figured he'd be a 4.5 star type of guy.

sounds like a wing to me 99 off shot 97 tech and 89 agr thats beast mode
i was very surprised when i saw the stars almost full for him, and a little less for the other guy. I wasn't going to invest in staff so i can train this guy quicker. I am at 20% now for training so i need to do a lot better. only thing is i screwed myself this year b/c i sold a manager and forgot to promote one so i saw a drop in money.
