i think that is somewhere on our internal to do list
A suggestion would be to lower the number of logins for newbies before they can use the market.
10 logins is just too many and we keep losing new managers that way. 4-5 would be plenty.

How about the market auto-bid? I'm bidding on players whose bidding times close during the dead of night.
It'd be good to be able to set my team to autobid up to 1mil (or whatever). It'd be a much better solution than putting down 1mil because that would prevent me from bidding on multiple players.
Is that on the to-do list? I'd definitely buy the pro-pack for this feature.

That is a to-do-list task. I'm pretty sure if it's not listed it was mentioned in a PPM Mag article.
Excellent. That is the second best news I heard today.
actually auto-bid was almost ready for launch some time ago but it was cancelled. the reason was that we didn't want the market to become automatic. it is not that interesting when you are bidding against a bot. also we weren't going to make that a PRO feature but a credit feature. so you would have to pay every time you use it
Why would it be boring to bid against a bot? The user bidding against the bot would have no idea what the bot's cap is set at; the experience would be the same. The feature would maximize the importance of player value and minimize the importance of time of closing.
I missed out on both players I bid on last night. I have no idea what their closing prices were, but I would have set an auto-bid to 1mil for both and instead bid 400k and 600k respectively and hoped for a steal in the dead of night.

It may not be boring to bid against a bot, but it could get really frustrating. I would hate to take out a loan only to get into a fruitless bidding war with some Latvian GM who's sawing logs. With hundreds of other guys interested in the same players you often times have to overpay the guy you want. Also, with us being on the other side of the world from the majority of GM's, we do have the luxury of sometimes finding really good players on the market when nobody over there is watching.
Doesn't it just mean that each player is more likely to be bought at their deserved value? I love PPM but I don't love logging in at work to bid on a player which I had flagged as a good addition the day before. Going through the list of players is an arduous and time consuming task which needn't be compounded by having to be there when the bid closes. The alternative is to greatly over-value and over-pay, which also sucks.
But for lower level guys like myself it makes it better having to be there to bid. If not newer players would never be able to get good prospects. Since all the elite of the game could cherry pick and put high max bids that they can afford, whereas I don't get a whole bunch on welfare day and can't afford to pay a million for a player (just saying). So blocking most of those elite by making them have to be online helps all players.
You shouldn't be able to buy great players. The salary of players should be increased. It is pretty sad that one staff costs as much as an entire team of players.
So a newer player shouldn't be allowed to bolster up their lines? No reason to let new people try to be competitive for the first few seasons? That wouldn't make much sense at all to allow that.
Auto-bidding would kill the very essence of the game like Aowyr said. We have our time zone, they have their and that's all fine by me. If you elect to have auto-bidding, then remove the waiting period for market and raise the cash flow. Newer player like me would never be able to bid on some selected good players since every one with huge amount of cash could just pick them bu auto-bidding higher than 800 000. It's not everyone that can bid that high when they start.
