Tema: US National Team

a bit patchwork this week but I'm feeling we're going to be OK. I added the Americans new guy and was planning on using Brad Hanks from the Swamp Foxes in goal this week but he got hurt so I added Hyman (want to be sure we have at least 2 healthy called-up goalies)

I finagled our lines for the national team so I could still call up 28 guys and be able to keep my own team intact for Saturday's matchup in the WHL, but the Lats just added one of my guys and called him up without asking me about it. Oh, well - hopefully I can win this Saturday anyway and get into the money round and play HC Recessia on Sunday with a full lineup and in the long run having the training bonus for Kazulis will be worth more than winning on Saturday if I don't.

Bruinsfan - send me your new guy's qualities when you get him scouted. You leaning towards center for him or right wing?

well, that sucked. we outshot them about 10-1 for the first 2/3 of the game and ended up losing...

They played 1/4 of the game shorthanded, were out-shot by a good margin and still won?

In a titanic clash the Irresistable Force will invade LOGOS Arena today, home of HC Recesia.sk who are currently ranked #3 in the world by OTR. The winner of this game advances into the final 4 of the OTR with games next Saturday and Sunday.

"It's really just an exhibition game when we play in these tournaments, but this is still a big game for us and we hope to have some fan support out there even though it's quite a trek from home" said club manager Janos Varadi.

I put Dan Minter in a 4 day camp while I have a 4 day lull in my schedule...he'll be available again next week.

lines are done for this week - we're a bit thin again due to 3 guys in camp and 2 guys playing in a tournament (keeping Buckley and McCall out, but put Cody William and Billy Ayers back in)
should be an interesting one...

I got a couple of good players who look like they could end up at competitive national team levels in a little over a season, ... of course I assume the standards will be higher then. Their stats I've seen posted here.

I don't know man. Not sure they're top quality to be honest. They're really good and I wish I had pulled them. I just don't think they're Senior National Team quality.
