Cool dude, thanks ... I was trying to project how long it would take to get to the current levels and it seemed about a season. The solid shooting qualities I thought would be a factor, but I haven't seen the qualities of the players on board so far, just the OR's ... which aren't that far off for a guy like "NORM!"
(cheers reference)

what are they training at? How many points per day, I mean? I get an average of .7-.8 for high Q guys
Norm had a .47 on a game day this past week. The training facility is a couple weeks from another bump.
I can't get my top RW (Chester Justice) on the team either and he's OR 265 with an 82-44-40 build with 40 shooting(18 Def), so I'm guessing that your guys are not going to cut it. He'll easily be 100-50-50 before too long, so these are the numbers you'll have to compete with...and my guys STILL not good enough.
the right wings right now are range from about 80-90 range in offense with one guy at 100. Their secondaries are mostly in the 45-55 range. Shooting is also pretty good with most in the 45-50 range and one at 60.
There you have it, so NORM has a long way to go...and my guy is on the cusp depending how he trains for next seasons Nat Team....because the guys I'm behind will also get better.
if I remember right Justice has pretty good Q so he has a shot next year. McCall's 4th right now on my sheet and he's not too great Q.
If you think your guys will catch up to the current guys in general it's not going to be easy - most of the guys on the team have good to great quality and belong to guys with good training facilities, regeneration facilities and coaches and no one is yet old enough for their training and skills to be depleted - best bet is getting someone new from the SA.
Best bet to catch up to someone would be LD - we're weaker there than just about anywhere else.

Noted...and even that guy (I assume your talking about Dan Minter) has been training like crazy and moving up the OR list for the Nat team with 88% average quality (99 for Def and Agg).
I wonder how much playing on the non-preferred side really matters. I may skate one of my games against a NoName opponent with everyone out of position to see what it does to the ratings. Unfortunately at these levels, I doubt it will show me much.
Minter's a training stud. You might be able to catch Ayers (71 overall quality) or some of the others though.
I updated my spreadsheet last night after and updated the 'training over the past 3 weeks' number and found that most guys were at 12-13 or so points. A few were much lower (assuming injuries) and some were higher (camp?) - the top trainer was Jude Cordova with +18 and 2nd was Cody William and Ryan McManus both at +17

I pulled a LD last youth pull but figured he was no wear close to Nat team level. He might actually be closer than I though judgeing by what was said hear. His main Stats are 55(Q85) 49(Q99) 42(Q78) and has 23 in tech with a Q of 61. I know he's not good enough now to make the team, but how closes is he?
To give you an idea of where you should be at to make LD, I have a LD that just misses the cut. He's at 83(94)-53(83)-37(90), and 24(46) for Tech.
that's about right. we have a wider variety of builds on the D-men than on the O-men - people aren't really using a 2-1-1 on all of them. We have 1 or 2 D with something like 110-30-30 and we have a few around 80-40-40 with no T at all. Billy Ayers (is mine so I can give his #'s out without making anyone mad) is 80-45-45 w/ 34 shooting and 42 technique.
I prefer having D-men with higher T than most people because I don't like taking a lot of penalties and I've found that someone who has a low T to AGR ratio might not take too many against weaker teams but when they face off against better talent they take a LOT more.

Agree with Tec being important! Minter came from the SA with 26 Tec and 42 Agg...but through a ton of training I got that to 43 Tec and 42 Agg and he no longer takes as many penalties.
